When I see one of these videos drop, I make it the first one I watch. I have never seen this done before. I have learned a lot. Never knew how much it took to move and place a house. I always wondered how they got the building properly positioned on the foundation. Glad to see them take such pains to make sure it is exactly where it is supposed to be. Definitely exciting to see the house so close to setting on the foundation.
We are super excited too. Thank you for the encouragement. Its kind of like Christmas everyday for us right now. I am doing a LOT of work on the RoadHouse Garage and will be putting up videos of that real soon.
*Rick & Jamie, another day closer for you both... Job well done by moving company too 🙂 Yeah great idea to move all the rubbish out from under the house... gotta make life easier for you, if and when you do need to crawl under there later on 🙂 Roll onto the next video on the house and getting all things done 🙂You know that your dad, Len will be smiling 🙂.*
I’m going to say it again, these guys are amazing, you can tell they take pride in their work! They do much more than I was expecting to get done with the job. I’m glad they have been safe though the whole thing! Thanks Rick for the great videography you do a lot of work on it to let us viewers enjoy! 👍
Very interesting process of lowering! (Im)patiently waiting for your videos of building the new center section connecting the two halves together. AND getting back to working on those old trucks!
You and I both Steven. I got the attached garage all set for Jamie. Built a gravel entance, slab is poured, and ran power to the garage door opener and light. She parks her quad and her car in there now and loves it. Right now I am focused on "The RoadHouse Garage" (The small detached garage that came with the house). So that I can get back to work on trucks to help fund the building of the house. "FILM@11!"

Rick the house is definitely coming along quite nicely buddy!!! I bet that you can’t wait for it to be all done so Jamie can make you a nice batch of chocolate chip cookies in her new kitchen!!! That will definitely be amazing for you both and all your hard work that you have put in!!!
Man it must feel good to see it finally sitting on the foundation I'm happy for the both of you It's been a great series I hope that there is much more to come on the ROAD HOUSE
Yo CTRANCH Hi again from the D Mi 😎 USA 😁 thanks for sharing another great video update on your progress with the House 👍🤩 congrats on getting it on the foundation 💞 and KUDO's to Emmett Crew for doing a Awesome job on doing a Safe job 🤩👍🔥🙏💖
That's a good idea, but the vapor barrier is required. I would like to use the foam pads over the top of the vapor barrier as soon as funds allow though. Thank you Brian.
Sure do. This whole process has pretty much shot the budget full of holes, but we look at it as investing in our future, so we are doing without a lot of things for now. Being able to have a dry, warm place to work will open up income opportunities that I don't have right now.
"...because the building isn't square" - yep, that was one of the unpleasant little surprises that I got, when I bought my house. I assumed all of the window frames and walls and everything were exactly square and perfect. NOPE:)
@@ClassicTruckRescue I was thinking one of the movie clips you inserted was from the movie, Glengarry Glen Ross, but I went back and looked, and I guess I'm wrong.
Sorry Luke. Its kind of complicated to take a video down once its been uploaded. Takes a long time and messes up the Subscribers because some of them get notifications every time I upload a new video. But like Steven said...it clears up after the first 40-seconds and then its fine for the whole video.
Berry Nice work. It finally happened.
We're getting there! You'll have to find red and green for your "Christmas Comments" haha.
It's great to see more progress Rick 👏👍. I pray you & Jamie are doing well 🙏.
Thanks so much John.
Can't wait for the next video 📹
I'm working on it. Thanks.

Very interesting never knew what it takes to move a house and set it back up fun to watch. I've been wondering how much time it takes.
There's a lot that I'm learning too Richard.
Yeah, just one of those little pebbles is kind of bad on the knees😁👍👍
Especially the broken concrete chunks. Thay have jagged edges. All clean and smooth now though.
Locking phone pads For crawlspace

You do not any wood laying on the ground under a house, you in up with insects and termites
No wood left under there.
