This was the glow plug module I was replacing. I did mention that on my other video when I replaced the glow plugs.. Check it out.. th-cam.com/video/4sThuCfgjjc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=lXAVcgVVs0eperDh
The light did come on again after a few days. Turns out the problem was an exposed wire on the engine loom. Check out this video. th-cam.com/video/mm2U_ICWyBo/w-d-xo.html I also found that the glow plugs I've fitted were the wrong ones. The car has a 7V system and the glow plugs I've used are only 4.4V. I'm replacing glow again for the 7V ones again tomorrow. But after replacing the loom car has been fine with no engine light warning.
It was suggested by a mechanic that the wires could have broken. So I bought the loom and when I removed the old one I noticed the damage.. And I noticed I put the wrong glow plugs during research and I then realised I had bought the wrong ones..
Can you help me locate Glow plugs Module for Polo classic TDI 2004 model
From what I can find online it should be in the same place as the Golf..
Not much to read about polo I'm afraid..
Always warm the engine up before attempting to remove the glow plugs. Otherwise there's a good chance of them snapping.
