That I wouldn't know.. I think this is just for the models with MMI as you need the screen to set it up. But not 100% sure on this.

Thanks for watching. Normally I don't leave caliper hanging. But because of handbrake cable there was no stress of the actual brake hose. That's why I left it hanging. After that I've done an Audi A4 and found it a lot easier to pull up on the bar than to push it down.. You get a lot more torque that way.

It could be.. If thermostat is stuck open or close it could be the cause of cold air inside the cabin. You can always remove the thermostat and test it with hot water to see if it opens, or it could already be stuck open like this one. Then you'll know for sure.. But I would bet my money on a faulty thermostat.

I was under the impression that you could do it on a manual.. But following the same thought process try engaging 1st and lifting the clutch till right before the biting point to see if it works.. BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU'RE TRYING THIS AS I DON'T KNOW IF IT WORKS. IT'S JUST S SUGGESTION.

My first recommendation is always to get the car scanned. Otherwise it's just a guessing game. But given that you only have this problem in the wet I'd be looking into wiring or the plug itself. You might have the wire seals damaged allowing water in, therefore shorting it and throwing a fault.

@_LuisS Thank you for quick response! 😊 I will check out the plug and wiring, the ABS sensors dont seem to be that expensive either so if i have to change them it wouldn't cost that much

@BSS22193 yeah. I know. But get it scanned. Even scanning will give an idea whether the fault is electrical or if its the sensor.

Hey there.. I really don't remember anymore how much I paid for it.. But I don't see it being more than 30 quid.. Just make sure you're buying a good unit from ebay if you're going that route.

That's correct.. This is only for locking and unlocking the car. To start it you need the new chip programmed to the immobiliser and VCDS doesn't allow it to perform that..

🤣 😂 I know right.. I actually done another bearing on a a4 and pulling up on the breaker instead of pushing down is far better.. It's not easy on your back, but you get so much more torque that way..

Thanks man.. Start by clearing up faults before trying again. Then make sure car is in flat surface and don't sit in the car. Mine at least I needed to connect VCDS before starting the engine, which needs to be running for this procedure. Lastly don't forget to input security access before trying to adjust ride height.. Hope you can get it sorted. 👍🏾

Glad you enjoyed it. 🤣 You can most definitely do it.. A breaker bar and a torque wrench are fairly cheap and you can get it done with those. And you're absolutely right. An impact is really what I need. But I'm very confident that that is tight and it's safe to drive.. Even not being able to reach the 180°

Is that the one at the bottom of the radiator? 🤔 I think we're talking about the same one. If so I think it's just a matter of removing the old one (I would expect to lose some coolant at this point) and replacing with a new working one.

@@_LuisS Hi Luis S, when I checked for faults through pressing the brake pedal and the accelerater together, few faults codes appeared. after charging the Coolant Thermostat Valve and housing. The fault codes still there. the code is P2182-17, P0597-61, p0115-14 what does. these mean. I would greatly appreciate if can comment on this please.

@edward3031 from what I can find first code looks like it needs to cleared. The other 2 are thermostat related which I assume you meant you changed it. Be sure to bleed the system because the last code comes up if coolant doesn't reach temperature within certain time.

I didn't use power tools because I don't have it. 🤦🏾‍♂️ But that's a great way to speed up this job. But yeah.. That's a great tip.. Not being careful will pull the drive shaft out of the gearbox..

So that's the 4M Q7. Manufacturers are making hard for people to DIY stuff on their cars. I would look for the specific procedure for your model, but I'm not sure the 4M allows the user to lower it.

Yeah.. I had it too.. Took me a good couple hours to calibrate everything. Ross tech Web site had the procedure but the first couple of times I tried didn't work.. But got it calibrated at the end with everything working as it should.

@@_LuisS you performed the driving, left right steering as described on the ross tech website? Ill have to do it again sometime.

@Hollander040 I don't remember the exact procedure now. But I did what's on the website before it worked. You have to follow instructions to a T for it to work..

That would depend on what type of steering wheel and what module you have in the car. If you have a highline module any wheel should work as long as its coded correctly.

If you only have one key I think you have to use the software to program different keys..

@@_LuisS... I had a 2004 GTI 1.8t for 15 years....went from that to a 2019 wrx. 2019 GTIs felt like my 04, just faster. I needed more "raw". at that time, should have just got a Golf-R, but manuals were tough to come by

This will work in basically every Audi and VW. I had once used the same procedure on a 2002 A4 too..

What exactly do you mean? Changing the light color on the radio itself? 🤔 If that's what you mean I haven't a clue. I didn't even think of looking for that option. So I don't know if it's possible..
