I made a new f2p account 7ish months ago, it's town hall 15 now. Can't wait to see other 7 month maxers (early-mid town hall 11) try to 3 star through a lv 2 monolith, 2 rage towers, 2 scattershots, and giga poison. I will easily 3 star you back with just my lv 90 queen charge. Maxing is the game of the past. Trust me, I've played since 2013. If you're good at attacking, you can be in challenger 1 cwl after just a year, trading blow for blow with max th16s.
@@w4rd44there was a time where bases would be matched in war based on overall defense strength. So a th10 maynot upgrade their defenses much and end up match with lower th in wars and their attack always three stars
I find it funny that in coc, rushing ur base is extremely controversial but in BB (boom beach) it’s encouraged because of the advantage of having an mainly offensive stuff
that advantage exists in CoC as well. The main difference is that boom beach doesnt have downsides CoC has for rushing, since matchups are decided purely by medal count.
@@leobastian_ I believe currently the devs r trying to fix the matchmaking but they never play tested it as it’s completely broken so I now have a lvl 6 with 12 vp on my map as a lvl 40 with >300
Personally I always max my base, but if you watch BDLegend you'll understand how rushing is way faster to get to a maxed TH15-16. And while behing a easy 3 star, a rushed TH can have the same offensive power as an unrushed. And btw traps are way more important than cannon or mortar, that's why bomb tower is so strong to counter blizzard
To be fair a maxed TH12 is just as easy of a 3 star as is a rushed TH15. In CWL war weight doesnt even matter and neither does it in regular CW, unless you are in your clans top 5
the main factor in getting maxed is time. Youll wanna get 6 builders as fast as possible, rushing helps get gems for huts. Youll wanna amass as many magic items as possible, rushing gives you more magic items through gated events and getting more League medals(it also makes you able to use your books and hammers more effectively). youll also get more ore on higher THs(better war targets, higher leagues, once again more events) so thats a bonus too, though ore isnt as limiting a factor as time. youll also be able to start upgrading pets earlier The main "downside" of rushing is getting matched against higher THs and getting less ressources from lower townhalls. But ressources are crazy abundant in the current state of the game compared to a decade ago, even if you sell your runes and wall rings for gems. The only thing still requiring lots of ressources are late(im talking TH14-16) walls, and rushing actually helps with those, because you can get started on them earlier instead of wasting time with full ressources on earlier Town halls.
My base used to be really badly rushed to town hall 11/12, but I’ve been slowly fixing it. That gold pass is key. I also found interest in the game again because I finally found attack strategies that actually work.
Rush base is another form of engineered base that used to appear in clan battle ( lower defenses levels mean lower level enemy ) But only if their offensive capability are comparable to their respective town hall would be considered an Engineered base
Rushing is the fastest way to max because you don’t have to wait to max heros, you can get the best usage of magic items, you don’t waste resources, and you can upgrade things like pets earlier which you wouldn’t normally even be able to upgrade until you played the game for a year or two.
There's a little rushing you can do by skipping just 1 level on some defenses like Mortars and other less meaningful defenses, or not maxing your walls but leaving some of them 1 lv behind is fine, as sometimes if you are almost ready to upgrade town hall, and you lack only heroes, or only walls, you are stuck at not using all of your deposit's rss which slows your progression, just by a bit
ya even if u just buy passes and some of the cheaper deals they offer in a year u can get from th 1 all the way to 15 with all the important stuff maxed and plenty of small upgrades for time fillers n such still and have max walls and decent hero lvls too...even with the addition of 16 I'll easily max within the next year and spend less this year cuz it's all behind me now...also with the addition of 16 alot of the buildings I skipped got major time reductions saving even more time overall
As a th9, imagine you want hero pets and you have to wait YEARS to get to that state, no wonder ppl rush, and by the time you get ther 3 more th are out
I personally think you can advance to the next TH level as far as your Heroes ,Troops, and Spells are 90-95% complete. Because waiting on defenses in kind of pointless since you’ll have the lab standing idle which isn’t the best allocation for farming
Well fyi lab takes the longest to max out of any other building, so by the time you are 50-60% max in lab you'll already be 100% maxed in defenses n other stuffs long
@@Shrey_Yash I really hope you're joking, as far as i know, you can't get Raid Medal Builder Potions in the trader, and they rarely appear on Event Rewards. Unlike Research Potions however.
Rushing nowadays is incredibly tempting because if you build your base normally your waisting a lot of elixir. You’re better off focusing on just upgrading the best troops and then upgrading the town hall.
Yeah that’s literally what I’m going through rn. I started a new base. I’m town hall 4 rn and the amount of things I can upgrade with my exlir is so minimal meanwhile I still have a lot of stuff to do with my gold. I think I’m just gonna go to TH5
First time I played coc, I always rushed because was always keen to get new buildings and troops as fast as I could. Few years later playing the game again, I took it much more slow and maxed out my base before upgrading th. After unfortunately losing that account, I wasnt gonna go through that again so I ended up rushing once more.
Speaking from personal experience and a veteran 2014 coc player. In modern coc rushing is only putting yourself in the negative because coc now has skill based matchmaking. In the past engineering was the most optimal way because you could play the system making it think you were way weaker. But now it's much harder because you have to build every building. Just take your time i guarantee you will have a much better playing experience
You clearly have no clue what you're talking about. A maxed base has the exact same offensive power as a rushed one, and since offense is so much more important than defense in this game, rushing is worth it. Rushing will, in the end, let you max your base at least a year earlier in most cases.
Bad take I started in 2014 and they won't give my account back so now I have a rushed th16 with the last 15 lvls of heros left all core defenses maxed and walls one lvl off max
As a veteran too, it's more difficult to rush base during those early times because it's like a manual thing. You need to wake up each time , even if you're sleeping just to check. Your upgrades 😅 and the amount of walls 🤑 so costly. But nowadays, you have all the potions, resources, books hammer, to help you keep up instantly. And for me, what it's important now is to have fun ,use your time to appreciate the game,.. play clan games, war with no pressure if your clan members gonna attack or not. At the end of the day, COC is a game not a job. You don't to be stressed out. Farm, build, attack, upgrade , make your builders busy. MAKE PEACE NOT WAR with yourself. Enjoy the game!
Probably the shallowest take on the topic I've ever seen. No proper mention of the engineered townhall 11s and 10s, as well as a fundamental misunderstanding of rushing meta. A proper blitz base can reach townhall 16 in around 2-3 months with a max troop combination for a specific generalist attack (say e-drags + balloons). This is absurdly powerful for leagues, especially in the current meta, you have what is essentially a maxed out attack, complete with level 95 heroes (thanks to the reworked hero potion), with the only thing taking a a bit longer being the equipments. You can also properly use your magic items without being wasteful, instead of playing normally and having to spend a book of building to save just a couple of days, you can easily save weeks worth of time after th 14. Lastly, saying there's no point to donor bases is incredibly shortsighted, the ammount of extra potions and resources you can get by not spending those medals is quite significant, and make a huge difference on the long run. Im just so dissapointed in this video, thought I'd get some nice discussion on the pros and cons of rushing while actully looking at what people with functining brains do when they rush, but instead it's just beating the strawman "ooh I don't wan't to wait a bit longer so I'll destroy my account, and hold my clan back hur dur" rusher. Taking five minutes to actually search what people are doing in 2023 would have helped this video significantly, but I guess you couldn't be bothered.
@@randall517Hahahaha. Try it out. Most rushers with a brain max out their core defenses. I’d really like to see a TH12 smashing a base that has full maxed Monolith, Inferno Towers, X-Bows, Eagle, Scattershots and TH Weapon (also maxed CC which means more troops for defense) while the rusher got there in like half the time the maxer got to fully max th12
I watched some of his other videos and realized he has no clue what he's talking about. If you ignore that, his scripts are not bad. It's funny how he can even stretch an 8 minute video with no information on the game.
@@randall517 If the rusher can pop 2 potions and 3 star you with 1/10 of their army, idk if that is an easy war win for you. If they're good they can knock 6 stars off your top 2.
@MichaelXie-cf7se that is if they can 3, then its a wash with their easy base. I like my odds against a rushed base. We war and win a lot and see how many terrible players there are in this game. If someone is good, they probably arent rushing.
I personally don't like rushing my bases, but it low-key seems like supercell is trying to help rushers because of the buffs to the hero and power potions going from +5 and lab max respectively to both boosting to max level at your TH. But on the other hand they've destroyed rushing because hero levels are now based on how active you are at getting the star bonus and doing good in war which requires good troops and heroes and you can get that with potions but you can't potion your base so you drag your clan down in war, in which losing more than halves your purple gem rates. Some TH-camrs advocate rushing to get the best magic item value especially if you pay for gems and shop offers cause you can stack items while rushing up but you still need to upgrade a fair amount before you get value that's worth the money.
I joined clash of clans this April with one of my friends. We were rushing just to prove a point that who has higher th level as we only knew that th level determines your progress. It was like July or August when I added one of my another friend who showed me his base and I'm like wow, i wanna be like him. I was at town hall 12 back then. No I don't regret rushing as it was way more fun to unlock new buildings and defences. Getting new troops and spells. Using giant w/ archers, then wizards and then dragons to later shift on e drag. It was fun. I wish I could rush but now it doesn't seem that good now that I've the mentality in mind that rushing is bad.
My personal opinion rush your first base and when it starts to get slow and grindy do your second base properly then you have your first base to donate to your second base plus your second base to keep you interested in the game plus eventually having to bases in a war is always fun
This is why I have two bases, One th12 in road to be maxed and a rushed th15 that I use as a playground whenever I get bored of maxing the other base ☠️
its just boring to spent so much time leveling all the walls, traps, mortars, tropps that you dont use, etc.... it takes way to long when it dosnt feel like you ned it even when you rush
I have 3 CoC accounts. The first is my main, an almost maxed TH12 that i’ve been playing for 9+ years. The second is my mini, a maxed TH10 that just moved to TH11. Lastly there’s my rush, a TH13 that I am rushing in a very specific way. This account is different as I’m working to just have every single thing the same as a max TH11 then just move up. I only want this so I can one day have 1 account that keeps up with the yearly town hall releases. If/when I do catch up I will go back and upgrade things up to max slowly, but I just want one base that’s maxed since I know my main and mini will never be.
I have ran a successful war clan for a few years now. We don't allow rushed bases including heroes. Over the years we have had a few rushed bases and it always shows in war results. Even if the player can once in a while 3* they literally always get destroyed on defence and the weight of having them on matchmaking is never worth it.
A big reason not mentioned is Strategic Rushing. Back then, magic items didn’t exist but nowadays you can rush up to a high level and use these on high value upgrades to mathematically max yourself out infinitely faster than the normal way. This used to not be a thing
I'm honestly surprised this hasn't become mainstream yet. I've already passed many of my friends in hero/troop levels after only a few months of playing when they have been playing since nearly the release of the game. If anyone wants more info check out creators like BD Legend
Well the new town hall supposed to come out after 18 months of the previous new town hall update but I am not sure why but they decided to release it earlier @@helios2664
"Are you playing a game?" Yes. "Are you having fun doing what you do?" Yes. It's a game. People have fun in their own ways. If someone wants to rush, who cares? If they're in a clan which is cool with it then fine. Personally I never rush. Not defenses, troops, spells, heroes, walls - I personally like seeing a FULLY maxed base before going up. I don't care about efficiency. It is what I find fun.
its fun and games until you realize nobody wants you in a clan war and don't make the point "i could use potions and 3 star" because leaders don't care because if you too get 3 stared it means shit , def not worth it.
I’m rushing my next town hall. I’m at a fully maxed TH lvl 14. I’m going to build the new requirements for TH 15 then upgrade to 16 lil a month later. I’m tired of always being behind.
On my base, I actually did rush a bit between TH levels 8 - 11. Right now I'm in the process of basically playing catch up though, because I want my base to look cool and be hard to 3 star at the same time, which tends to involve leaving my base to idle for weeks on end letting all the loot pile up from people that attacked me, and taking advantage of the bonus loot by getting enough stars from attacking. By *far* the hardest part of playing catch up has been the prices for upgrading my walls though
I have a full level 1 (apart from collectors, barracks etc) town hall 15 and the defences are so strong that not even an average player at th 13 can 3 star. Also, having all the troops is helpful in war since you can boost them to the maximum level for easy 3 stars.
This reminds me of some years ago when 2 clan mates had 2 alts called "Superman" and "Batman". These 2 accounts were so unfair when it came to clan wars because back then the way the matchmaking worked was using the total "weight" of your village, which mainly came from defenses. They only had a lvl 2 cannon lol.... Fair to say wars werent fair at all, their mirrors would be a TH7 when they had effectively the offensive power of a TH12
I had a rushed base, tried for fix it for a few years (it was rushed from 7 to 12) and eventually set up a non-rushed alt. Played the alt like a once a week, but evenutally lost the main account and when i sorta checked the alt i realised it was th 8 and about the same level as my main in terms of defences, anyway im th12 now (just updraded to it this week) and have maxed th 11 to get here.
I mean, if you have one of the old rushed bases with less buildings, during wars you're usually paired up against a lower level mirror, so it's also pretty easy to 3 star your mirror and you can also get more stars against the one above if you upgraded your troops. You're easier to beat, but your mirror problably won't be able to 3 star you easily, maybe requiring someone else better to waste an attack, and also you can attack people above your mirror, which helps a lot!
I used to have a rushed base but I ended up fixing it because every time I had the chance, I’d upgrade the town hall because I thought it was the best thing to do
I have to be honest. I started two new villages this year after not playing a few years. One of them I am playing „normal“ and one of them is heavely rushed. Both really have their ups and downs but playing normally is just a lot more fun in my opinion!
You can get max out your heroes and strong troop easier and faster than without rushing. And you can also donate those maxed out troop to your clanmates in clan war and clan game. But new equipment systems destroyed that aspect of rushing too.
I have my main that’s TH15 that’s completely maxed apart from some walls and a couple hero levels, but I honestly have more fun on my rushed alt. It’s TH16 with a maxed offense. I pushed up deep into legends league and it’s a blast. Plus for wars it’s actually really helpful, I get paired against TH13s, and with 2 attacks it allows me to knock out the top 2 players easily and then my clan can attack down 2 spots. We win basically every war because of this. My TH15 maxed took me over 10 years while my TH16 rush took me 2 years.
In a clan I was in years ago I had a clan mate who would only donate poisons to rushed players. One thanked him for the poison but he said back “that’s not to help you 3 star that’s to drink for rushing”
I’ve rushed in the past and I’ll forever stand on upgrading every last single thing. It’s only these newer players that wanna jump into the next th, they don’t know anything about a troop randomly becoming the best in the game, or anything about the game before supercell decided to reduce and time it takes to upgrades. Also nowadays it’s so easy to progress and get currency. Always more satisfying to be fully maxxed.
I just got back into the game a month ago and rushed to TH9 just for fun. When I last played, 10 was the highest TH so I wanted to see how quick I could get there. Of course this led to me having a horrible time and I had to stop at 9, lol. So a couple weeks ago I started a new village and have had much more fun just taking my time with it. Maxing most things except collectors because I raid for my resources. I just hit TH6 and am enjoying the experience much more since I’m actually competent for both defense and offense. I’m still correcting my rushed TH9, it’s just gonna take a while😂
Thank goodness all my attackers just place different troops either all at once at different locations spreading them thin or put down some troops, and when they all die think "whoops" and then place down the rest, spreading them out with time.
It’s probably worse now but I stopped playing the game around 2015 maybe 16 but was playing before TH 11 was a thing. To see rushing is still a thing is too funny to me. In the early days it was more looked at as a shame. People mainly were rushing to unlock hero’s and whatever was available at TH 10 at the time😂
i just hink that as a new player its takes so much time and it fees worthless to pursue a base since it takes such long time. i would hope they could add a season mode or something so everyone got a fresh start every month or so
I never upgraded after town hall 11, I don't care about my town hall, I just like attacking enemy bases, if I upgrade my town hall, I have to upgrade my troops to the town hall limit which takes time. And that bothers me, For me, this game is just a social game, the town hall rush isn't really necessary.
one of the reasons i didn't rush is because of the decreased percentage of loot you get if you attack a townhall lower than you. So if you rush you will get less loot and if you also rushed your troops then you won't be able to attack the townhalls your level or even higher ones.
I remember somebody saying I can't join a clan. Because my base was rushed bro. The only thing not leveled is my walls. They literally do nothing at this point.
Engineered bases were killed by the TH12 update, where you were forced to build all defenses before being able to up the TH. I had maxed out TH11 attack while being matched with TH8s in clan war. Fun times indeed😂❤
I only liked that because my clan got a couple of them ourselves, but it was a bad thing for the game. Having the top 4 being beaten by the bottom 2 of the enemy wasn't fair
As a co leader with a maxed out th and 2 little rushed accounts i just see it as win to have a bit variation. We even did start a clanwars with some rushed accounts to fill in blank gaps in clanswars. While maybe those accounts are easy beatable those are also accounts that can 3 star the counter enemy accounts aswell so it kinda depends on the activity of the enemy. In the end it all comes down to the enemies top 3 numbers if the war is a win or not
since super goblin exists, farming never been issue so rushed is one of the best thing to do. High TH mean high CWL oportunity, more value of hammer etc. As long i get max wall, max heavy defense like inferno, x-bow, air defense, i'll go rush instantly.
Im rushing as a new player whenever i feel tired of the current TH. Spend quite some time at 11 and 12 and am now 5 months away from being maxed TH14. Will rush to TH16 in 2 months because i dont like how TH15 looks.
IMO, I think rushing can be more fun because you can make really fun attacks with the troops you unlock while rushing, and, you can also do that in a normal playthrou to make things a bit faster, like I did, where I rushed from TH3 to TH8-TH9, and today, I'm th10 maxed TH 9 and very close to get maxed TH10 but for the elixir producers, archers and canons, 2 wizards and the air sweeper. (Of course, a bit of walls too.)
Supercell also buffed rushing recently so that the hero potion will always max out heroes instead of 5 levels, allowing these rushed bases to not have too many downsides on offense
Tbh I'm a rusher because I don't wanna spend an eternity waiting for the cool stuff when I can just rush and try them early like eagle artillery x-bow and scatter shot
The only thing I’ve ever rushed is my lab (for reference I’m a th11 and I’m 25 days from 25 in terms of structures, and 4 months in lab) I’ve been buying research potions to try and catch it up but it’s a lot
I do rushing because its an incredibly fun way to play the game. I play for weeks at a time then stop for months before returning I have a main acc that's th11 near max and a th13 with th8-9 defenses. It used to be all lv1-3 but supercell added that builder upgrades during long times of absence
Back when I actively play CoC I would turn one of my accounts into a donation account. At the time TH13 was more than enough to get high level to max troops. Now I barely play and none of my accounts serve any practical purpose.
I once had a „no defense“ account, which is now my th14 donation account, where i SLOWLY „fix that rush“ (like 1 attack per week & buy everything eith different medals) This account is also great in CWL, becausei can use maxed troops to triple a hard opponent, that our second best account (th13 in last cwl, now th14) has no chance against
I Rushed when I used to play because everything in Clash of Clans takes forever to upgrade. I hate how long it takes to upgrade everything. Now I refuse to play because I just don't have the patience to wait 24 hours to upgrade an Archer tower.
I rush my main base BIG TIME lol. But for some reason i refuse to do that with my builder base. It has to be maxed, or at least everything i believe needs to be, before proceeding.
CoC needs some serious rebalancing, and I wish Supercell had better foresight regarding that. Half of the reason I redesign bases is to figure out where to place my walls and traps; they need to be relevant again! I also wish they didn't make most of their exciting content for the high-tier town halls... I'm at TH9 and I literally don't have the tools to get good 0-star defenses at all. AND my league is full of TH10s that I'm not a skilled enough attacker to 3-star.
Rushing until you can max your economy buildings are fine since you can get more out of them if you get them earlier. I think in current state of the game the last upgrade for goldmines is TH-13
I’ve beeen playing since maybe 2014-2015, I’m still townhall 10 but that’s cause I don’t want to rush. I play it for the long run I’ll eventually catch up and if I don’t oh well.
I don’t see rushed vs typical builds as good or bad. They are just different. As long as people are enjoying their game and playing I am happy for them
These newer players know nun about patience man. They simply can’t enjoy the process unless their th is upgrading. Atleast get your base to 90% before thinking about upgrading. The next th ain’t going no where, it’s gonna be there whether you get to it this year or the next 10 years
Maxed th15 gone to 16 I started almost 8 years ago not f2p sometimes but the gold pass I started a rush 3 years ago and it helps a lot in war especially good since the new update you need to be winning the wars
I had to just rush from TH11 to TH13 in 2 weeks to get this months Hero skins for the champion because Supercell won’t sell you it unless she’s unlocked
I don’t rush simply because I don’t like the way the base looks when it’s rushed. But I don’t get upset at people who rush because everyone is allowed to play the game the way that they want to.
Ima be honest I was maxed th12 exept heroes. I rushed to th13 cuz I feel like the hero levels aren't that much important nowadays since supercell added gears.
personally I have a rush and a non rush base, cause the matchmaking in the leagues also is umbalanced, last league on gold 1, I needed to do a th14, with my th12 max, and with the rush base was a th14 vs 14 and i was able to do a 3 star, my defense was good and they did 2 stars, also in normal wars, sometimes I see th8s vs ths 9s or 10s max and so on
I’m maxed th13 but each time I max out a th a new one comes out and at this point I’ll never reach max level by continuing to max. I’ve been playing since 2014 and this is my first time I ever decided to rush. Honestly I think it’s about time

@@NICOCLASHim maxing my defenses and walls but not upgrading my heroes until I reach th13 then I’ll upgrade my heroes all at the same time

True fact
Seeking air mines should be considered a major defense they are op and can ruin entire air attacks
I actually do consider it as a major defense and the fact there's plenty of it and it deals so much damage! And it's HIDDEN?!
I used to do e dragon attacks, and sams always destroyed my attacks.

I think I’m just gonna go to TH5
agreed. That's what my plan is now
First time I played coc, I always rushed because was always keen to get new buildings and troops as fast as I could. Few years later playing the game again, I took it much more slow and maxed out my base before upgrading th. After unfortunately losing that account, I wasnt gonna go through that again so I ended up rushing once more.
Lmao, what th are you in?
LMFAO bozo
@bigdane8828 15 currently haha. My non rushed was an 11.
@@HeatherCameron-p5f damn I wasn't expecting that high 😅, I wonder if you're going for th16 or fix your base.
I personally like rushed based because I can easily 3 star them for easy 700k+ loot.
@@sixtenk2ah yes the potion power but good luck going to wars
But how’s that research lab going?
And then your th16 with its th5 defenses gets smashed by a th12. I love rushers. Makes winning wars easy.
This is why I have two bases,
One th12 in road to be maxed and a rushed th15 that I use as a playground whenever I get bored of maxing the other base ☠️
its just boring to spent so much time leveling all the walls, traps, mortars, tropps that you dont use, etc.... it takes way to long when it dosnt feel like you ned it even when you rush

Same thing, 4 account 15 main 13 max 12 max, 11 rushed😅 3:13
If you rush, you end up like me.

"Are you playing a game?"
Yes.
"Are you having fun doing what you do?"
Yes.
I love rushed bases
Not because i have one but because they're a piece of cake in clan wars
I've rushed until the CV 9, when i realized how ugly and low level my base and troops were. Now i am lvl 11 and things are pretty balanced.
In the past people used to not properly upgrade their walls as they were expensive as hell but not everyone..
As a rushed person it’s cool seeing your base over time become better and better and seeing it level up is pretty cool
Always more satisfying to be fully maxxed.
i started playing the release of town hall 14, rushed straight to th 14, now i'm almost a maxed town hall 15... working on 16 now
Are you free 2 play?
@@isaacogunmuko3947nope im almost a maxed town hall 16 now
I just got back into the game a month ago and rushed to TH9 just for fun.
I’m still correcting my rushed TH9, it’s just gonna take a while😂
You should talk about hybrid bases... Like a th8.5, th9.5 etc
Thank goodness all my attackers just place different troops either all at once at different locations spreading them thin or put down some troops, and when they all die think "whoops" and then place down the rest, spreading them out with time.
I use to rush a lot and now I’m a town hall 11 that has spent over 5 months catching up and still have a long way to go
It’s probably worse now but I stopped playing the game around 2015 maybe 16 but was playing before TH 11 was a thing. To see rushing is still a thing is too funny to me. In the early days it was more looked at as a shame. People mainly were rushing to unlock hero’s and whatever was available at TH 10 at the time😂
i just hink that as a new player its takes so much time and it fees worthless to pursue a base since it takes such long time. i would hope they could add a season mode or something so everyone got a fresh start every month or so
Rushing is good for raids weekends. Since raids don’t require you to have anything except being in a clan, so you can do more attacks
Those engineered bases was crazy MAX TH11 Offense with just a lvl 1 cannon for defense, registered as a th1 for wars basically
one of the reasons i didn't rush is because of the decreased percentage of loot you get if you attack a townhall lower than you. So if you rush you will get less loot and if you also rushed your troops then you won't be able to attack the townhalls your level or even higher ones.
fun fact: every rushing guide tells you to max the ea, ss, it, the hidden teslas and the traps as these are the battle changers
Rushing is only viable when you ignore upgrading defenses.
Rushing is a sin of the same level as the Engineer bases back in the days
I built my base normally until TH10, then after losing several wars in a row, rushed to TH12 so I could build siege machines for my clan.
(Of course, a bit of walls too.)
back in the days rushing so hard but nowadays its ok there so much benefit
I play for weeks at a time then stop for months before returning
I have a main acc that's th11 near max and a th13 with th8-9 defenses. It used to be all lv1-3 but supercell added that builder upgrades during long times of absence
Back when I actively play CoC I would turn one of my accounts into a donation account. At the time TH13 was more than enough to get high level to max troops. Now I barely play and none of my accounts serve any practical purpose.
I just started the game
I once had a „no defense“ account, which is now my th14 donation account, where i SLOWLY „fix that rush“ (like 1 attack per week & buy everything eith different medals)
This account is also great in CWL, becausei can use maxed troops to triple a hard opponent, that our second best account (th13 in last cwl, now th14) has no chance against
Higher offense is the point, you can attack higher meaning you are more likely to get a perfect war
now with all the pets and Hero abilities it makes sense to rush because you can upgrade them way faster
I only rush when I have full loot and no builders when my base is min 80% max
I Rushed when I used to play because everything in Clash of Clans takes forever to upgrade. I hate how long it takes to upgrade everything. Now I refuse to play because I just don't have the patience to wait 24 hours to upgrade an Archer tower.
I somewhat rushed for passive miners max lvl. Now I'm maxing out everything
The only time i rushed is when i was so desperate to get the warden sooner, iv decided ill be staying in th 11 until i max everything
Only real ones remember the pain in the butt of going against an entire clan of engineered bases in clan wars
I rush my main base BIG TIME lol. But for some reason i refuse to do that with my builder base. It has to be maxed, or at least everything i believe needs to be, before proceeding.
I'm the total opposite, I need that 6th builder
Rushing makes sense in certain cases. Like if you max all but air defenses and walls you might as well get to the next th to not waste time
I played when coc was new then didnt touch it til last March. About maxed out TH11 and now getting kinda bored so going up to TH16
Ever since they capped the troop lvls u can donate it gave another reason to rush cuz then u could be sent maxed troops
Nothing is more embarrassing than having a rushed base
I’ve beeen playing since maybe 2014-2015, I’m still townhall 10 but that’s cause I don’t want to rush. I play it for the long run I’ll eventually catch up and if I don’t oh well.
I don’t see rushed vs typical builds as good or bad. They are just different. As long as people are enjoying their game and playing I am happy for them
If you rush but take the time to upgrade core defenses, troops, spells and heroes as well then it should be fine
Then that's not rushing lmao, by the time you've done all that you might aswell upgrading everything else
@@BrysonWood-dn5hl That's Strategic Rushing.

Honestly I think it’s about time
In the early days of clash rushing was beneficial for trophy pushing
I know this isn't related to rushing, but I hate it when people put walls randomly just to meet the criteria for the next townhall
Rushing? Sure, but level one? Man what's so wrong with waiting 5 minutes to upgrade an archer tower to lvl 2💀
