Have you been running this carb? How does it perform compared to the Rochester? I bought this carb for my 85 Blazer. Any problems with the TVS cable on the transmission ?
Never mind. I have a cable to the transmission. It was a huge pain. Had to carefully grind the new part so it would fit the cable end. As far as how it runs, I wouldn't know. I will get back into it this spring.
Did your fuel go through your canister box under hood. For some reason gas is overflowing coming out of the canister vent under hood could anyone help me with this
Because I have the same motor I'm trying not to swap that TBI fuel injection carburetor I got my carburetor my fuel regulator I'm having a hard time financially HEI distributor was that that's why I'm asking are you running an HEI distributor with a if you are where did you purchase it from
Dalton , there is 2 idle screws on the bottom base of the carburetor , Turn them both in gently until they stop , then turn each one out 1and a half complete turn each , Then see if it runs better , if not try turning in a 1/4 turn , if it is worse , then turn each out a 1/4 turn , But do not go over 2 complete turns unless absolutely necessary
Ty for the info

I don't have a cable.
The carb runs great but has idle issues. May be something else because the blazer had sat for 20 years. Also it's-20f outside

I did the swap on mine, throttle cable adjustment? And also it runs super rich, adjusting mixture screws in like it says makes it more rich
Are you running an HEI distributor with vacuum

Add a fuel regulator. Probably over pressure

Mine isn't tbi.
My distributor is stock.
I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. I don't know what an hei distributor is.

Some carbs only have one screw at the base .
