My dad made me one of those Schwinn type bikes in the 70's With the small front wheel and a 3 speed shifter on the frame. Every time he locked himself in the shed for a couple of weeks I knew I was getting something great.

As an enjoyer of old books/magazines this was an incredibly interesting video. The oldest book I have was given to me by my grandfather and it was a book of different stories aimed for school kids published in 1897
I often tell my husband I'm a collector not a horder lol. My things are organized and protected. Much of it was my Dad's. He left a note never to sell anything lol so he'd be happy to know we treasure his stamps and 78 records as much as he did :)
I'm 37, so this is the sweet spot for me lol. My parents were too poor to shop at JC Penney, although id get school clothing there when I got a little older and was self conscious about what I wore. What is strange is prices haven't seemed to change much, but JC Penney was always expensive back in the day. Everything else has been highly inflated since then though especially housing and gas.
I had that Schwinn Pea Picker …my dad found it in a junk yard and refurbished it for my mom but she never wanted to ride it …so I always used it …it had a 3 speed shifter and was sooo cool and it would jump ramps good

Eyyy you’re still doing these. It’s been years since I watched your channel or any ASMR at all. Came here to see if you were still uploading. The TH-cam algorithm sucks. Nice to hear your voice again. Hello from Scotland
The irony of that Death of Superman comic is that it's practically worthless (no matter how pristine they are kept) because everyone else has the same idea and the quantities printed were way above the normal run for these "collector's item" type issues so the supply is still very high. Anybody that wants one can easily find them. The age isn't so important as much as how limited the printing was so that the quantities are lower. The old Supply and Demand formula. That doesn't stop people from asking ridiculously high prices (whether they are getting those prices is another story).
Wow, marvel mystery comics issue 15 could sell for up to $9,000 if it’s in great condition. Shame this copy was in a wall instead of a protective case 🤣

I'm not sure what NASA has or doesn't have from the Apollo era. I only remember seeing headlines some time ago saying that they no longer had the data. With the loss of whatever that data was, as well as the retirement of the people that got us there before, plus I imagine that so much has changed over the decades when it comes to materials, it's easy to see why going back to the moon 50 years later would essentially be starting from scratch all over again in some regards.

I've watched this video a few times already, and each time it brings a tear to my eye. It does so because it reminds me of what this country use to stand for. It reminds me of what life used to be in this country. I'm 55 years old, so like Mr. & Mrs. Relaxing ASMR, I have a different perspective than, say, anyone under the age of 30. @@Blitterbug I have a yearbook from my secondary school in England, and I think I left in 2005.
Edit for some more context: I went to a rural state school in the North East. I think the school paid for them in my case and everyone got one, but can't remember fully. It's the quality of a glossy magazine with a thicker card outer cover (not hardback or anything).
@@McPoogle Wow. Your school district is pretty cool. Do you know how unique that is? Unless schools have changed a lot in the 40 years since I left! Though all my 4 children had the same experience as me...
That yearbook was amazing. Everyone well groomed; boys in ties and suits. Looks more professional than most Linked In profiles. Wish America could return to the late ‘70’s/ early 80’s!
If you ha e the venom sent to a graded company it will probably be worth more then the Human Torch one
You’re videos are exceptional good, thank you, bye the way if you didn’t save those things, how could you share with us?
Thank you
That Marvel comic is probably worth around $200. Don’t throw it out.
