- We finally took the civic out to do a little bit of E tuning. There is a whole bunch of little things that we still need to clean up before she hits the dyno, but this was a HUGE step in the right direction! All the hard work on this build is finally coming together & I can't wait to feel how hard this thing is gonna rip!

Literally the best “cheap” build. You built a monster man. I daily my FA5 and since watching your adventure on this car, I slowly started working on mine. Keep killing it bro. You’re a motivator man.
My goal with this series was to show that you can still have fun building cars on a budget. This build was super affordable & this car is gonna HAUL 😈. I feel like TH-cam really gives a false reality to what building cars is like, so I tried to make this as relatable as possible for you guys. Glad you were able to get some motivation from these videos man 👌🏼. These are the comments that keep me going.

Hey man been watching your videos for a while, I’m boosting my fg2 as well, your vids have helped me a lot for real, I’ve researched about mushroom filters and a bunch of people say they don’t work and they fail, you might wanna consider using a good filter that’s not mushroom style, i tell you this cuz I don’t want your turbo to fail or have any damage bro
Did your bb mounts mess up your cruise control or anything ? Stopped working for me after I switched them out.
It’s the placement of the wastegate flange Ik people with a 44mm waste gate and they have zero boost creep

@@DanielKellert S1 has indeed come out with an awd kit. only reason im not doing it on my turbo k24 si is because i do believe you need to modify the exhaust tunnel or run a hood exit to fit the driveshaft. You also need to run either a custom subframe or lower the subframe a solid 3 inches or so to clear the transfer case
I heard folks going with twin 44mm or 60mm gate and it helped with boost creeps on those cx manifolds!
Twin 44mm would probably help. Problem is the 2 bolt flange for the gate is so tiny that the exhaust gas just flows through the turbo so much easier. For the purpose of this being a budget build though, we are gonna send it with the CXRacing gate. Just to show you guys how much fun you can have on a budget 🔥
