I love the little duet on "Whenever you're in trouble." Nice to hear Rob throwing a few runs and decorations in, though this here is the proof of what some have been saying, that Austin's voice, that massively improved during lockdown, has undergone another change to a new fullness and richness.
Love this great classic song from Ben E. King back in 1961. The Home Free guys did an awesome version as always. Love their arrangement on this cover. Great vocal leads by Austin & Rob. Tim's bass really stands out for me in this one. And Adam's tasteful vocal percussion is on point.
@Saeedreacts. This is definitely on the #HomeFree favourites list. The trouble is that most every new video they put out becomes a new favourite BUT this is masterpiece has a guaranteed Top 3 spot for me. The arrangement, harmonies, solos, runs, percussion and layering are simply wonderful. (I will add this is a significant upgrade over the version they sang with the judges the year after their Sing-Off win; where they provided and intro and background and the judges all tried to out-do one another.) Home Free never disappoints.

One of the songs I have been listening to for as long as I can remember. First the LP, later I always had it on one of my cassette tapes, then I got the CD and in recent years I usually have it on one of my playlists. Although many versions had been released in the meantime, it was usually the version by Ben E. King or Otis Redding. But from now on it is the version of Home Free that is on my playlist and no other.😊💖 Alternating the lead between Austin's powerful voice and Rob's silky soulful voice just sounds so beautiful and fantastic. Then the unparalleled vocal percussion, truly phenomenal. The great bass and beautiful harmony are the finishing touch.❤
