great guide thank you , i tried to use two relay as you described .but one of them stop to work for unknown reason , so i connected two relay in other way in separate way to open /close ( one to open and one to close that mean while open /close current flow thru one relay only ), but i think later i will replace the relay with 220v transistor . i think its better .

A Sensor input should be required from gate for safety purpose .

Hi, A 12VDC Car Wiper Motor cannot be used to move a heavy load like a sliding gate but the same principle can be applied for a different application.

@@1994hvm depend on the motor ,usually the answer is no and with traditional motor coming with key to separate motor shift and allow manual using ( like if there is no electricity other reason ) ..
