COMPONENTS - The game is put together beautifully. Great components throughout, and the storage solution is one of the best I've seen. ***Correction - The game is for 1-5 players, not 1-4*** 0:00 - Introduction 0:30 - Aging Spirits 1:04 - Distilling 2:13 - Play Variety 3:13 - Market Purchases 4:22 - Solo Goals 5:29 - Final Thoughts
I'll have to try the solo mode, sounds really interesting! I think the part of the game that was weakest for me is definitely the market purchases, I found that most of the items were just "get a discount on x item type" or "get 1 more coin", pretty samey, it would be nice if there was more variety of effects or like, oh I can combo these ingredients to produce better flavors or something.
Thanks Mike. I fancy a swift snorter for some reason! lol One non-gaming thing that struck me was that, despite the boxart, the characters look like they are from the Indian sub-continent. Yay for diversity! 👍🏾👍🏾 But @02:31 there is a chap in a hat that looks like a fez, or similar, which makes me think he is a Muslim. Which would be very odd. I'm from Birmingham, UK, and the area I lived in had a large South-East Asian community. The headwear depicted is very reminiscent of that worn by members of the Muslim community. Maybe completely wrong about it, but it has piqued my curiosity as to where the game is set.
I'm not sure about the Muslim character, but overall I can confirm that there is a ton of diversity in the represented characters, drinks, items, etc. They have spirits (and distiller characters) from continents around the world.

I published the Dutch version of Distilled, very nice to see this video and to see you like most of the things in the game for what it is doing 😊.
I know it's part of your format for a long time, but I laughed at the unintentional puns of "mix" for Distilled.
Lol! Didn’t think of that :)

Yes, can’t argue with that. It’s not the strongest euro for engine building and combos
This looks intriguing. It’s making me want to have a sip of my Bourbon 😄. Might give the game a try, light Euro and solitaire mode seem pretty good!
I won't lie, it might have made me bust out a bottle of whiskey during play :)
