19:00 "Sweet and wheaty.." You distilled a "sweety"! Or is that a "sweaty"? The name would probably affect the price - that's a job for the Marketing Department. 🥃
@@OneStopCoopShop i really like the theme of this game, but the process of making drinks, when you randomly discarded 2 cards, is like in most stupid filler games. What your opinion on that? Is there some mitingation mechanics ?
Thanks Mike it looks quite fun, but I agree, looking at the playthrough it does appear a bit samey each round. It would have been nice to see a bit more tableau building, maybe even an event deck for greater variability. I do like the market cull cards and solo goals, hopefully the latter is varied enough to make each game feel like a different challenge. Great preview as always, one i'll definitely be looking out for.
This game was mentioned lately by the Bruthers Murph and I fell in love with it. Unfortunately it is sold out in my country at the moment, I hope this will change soon.
Looks great and really glad that I've jumped into this one. Looking forward to the Africa expansion and maybe they'll do one for Oceania. I could see how this could get repetitive but sometimes keeping things simple really does work out for the best. Complexity for the sake of it, would ruin this. Edited for typo!
Buy a really cool upgrade! Yeah! Then use it once, and discard it. Bummer. (Except the distillery upgrades, of course). Opps.. came across more negative than intended. Just something I noticed especially when upgrades are so expensive, and money is scarce.

Maybe this Video was made by an earlier rulesheet. But when i read the instructions i understand a point. You can sell only one spirit per sell Phase and you will only get 1 Lable from the spirits expect the moonshine or vodca lables. There must be 2.
Not sure what you mean. Right in the first paragraph on page 11 (first part of the "sell phase" rules) it says you can sell the spirit you just distilled AND any aging spirits, which means you can sell more than one. And in the bottom-right of that same page it says you can have more than one label from the same spirit type... Am I misunderstanding your point? If so, sorry!
Fast playthrough, fast narration and fast editing. Hard to follow through and check the play details but a great visual video. I personally would of preferred a longer video and slower playthrough.
I like your speed because it really shows you how fast a real game would be once you've learned it.
Glad you enjoyed it
I'm impressed with the art. Everything is fine: layout, colors, icons blend together in a nice way. Especially for a Euro-Game like this one.
It’s very attractive!

Former option is definitely more appetizing :)

@serfalinskyi6474 there are many upgrades that give you some mitigation, but yes bad luck can always rear its head
Might be just be the thing for Father's Day. For me, of course :)
You deserve to treat yourself 😁

Some upgrades are amazing, some not so much. Often depends on how early you get em

No worries! Hope the video is helpful.
You missed a nice pun Mike. So I'll fix it for you.
"...if you are random adverse, like if you set yourself up for whisky and barley missed it..."

Totally understandable! Hope it still gave you a feel for the game and whether you might be interested :)
Easy fix is to change the speed to 90%. I do that on a few channels. Down to 85% for the really fast talkers.
