I think Ghana has the best music in the world. I like Sarkodie, Bisa Kdei, Guru and Castro. I heard that Castro left this world after trying to save a woman who feel off a jet ski. Ghana people are amazing with a history of royalty and power.

Ghana's crime is not brutal .like a gun robbery , but it is very sophisticated and intelligent and there are so many thieves . Be careful with your money , because Ghana (and all Africa) is a minefield for your money.Especially if you buy a plot . Do not forget that Ghanaian hackers are on the list 10 top in the world and they are very intelligent . Better if you have family in Ghana.

I visited Ghana in 1979 to visit a friend, I was there for 2 weeks, I'm African American. The place I stayed I noticed local kids playing soccer with a busted tennis ball. I felt bad so I bought a new soccer ball for the kids and a pump for the ball, I gave the ball to a girl and the pump to a boy, the girl with the ball took the pump from the boy and ran off with the ball and the pump with the rest of the local kinds in tow. Typical woman, I have a picture of them on my face book page. This is one of my most cherished memories. Meda wo ase.

Nigeria is the second largest economy in Africa after south Africa, but will become the largest economy in Africa in the future, when corruption is eradicated.....with all this DNA link you have, why do you need a visa to enter these west African countries? make sure you do not go to Africa broke. buy shares in all the nigerian companies that pay.dividends listed on the Nigeria stock exchange. teach your people financial education before they travel to Africa. for financial planning literacy/education workshop, contact us at

Just got back from our first two week long trip to Ghana and wanted to say thank you. This was the most accurate video on youtube I watched before going. I went there with very low expectations (i.e. don't get kidnapped or die from malaria...) and it turned out to be one of my best foreign travel experiences ever. Ghana people were so incredibly and genuinely nice! Like nowhere else in the world (Australia was close) have I encountered people so nice. We really had a great time with the exception of some extreme gastrointestinal issues... very glad my Dr. sent us with a "just in case" round of Cipro (strong antibiotic). I would go back... already kinda planning to!

Thank you for this video. My sister's on her way to Ghana and I'll be sure she listens to this. I always looked out for Africans that come to America also. When I had my salon an African sista came to get her hair done. She began talking about things her American husband was doing. I and other clients told her about American men. She became stronger.

+MimiOnliine Can you talk about crime and foreigners? Renting an apartment by the week or month? I'm guessing most foreigners are in Ghana to work in finance or construction or banking, but I never see them in random videos on youtube? Where are they spending their free time? I hope you make some more videos, even interviewing foreigners/1st time visitors! Lastly, is it hard to find Crab meat served in restaurants and is it normally served hot or cold? What about bacon?

About the shoes...it really depends on who's home your are going to..
And the umbrella situation, BRING it otherwise you will get wet!! People DO use umbrellas when its raining because they dont wanna get wet. So unless you want to get wet...... bring ur umbrellas along.

HEY GUYS ,as suggest by a viewer, i may make a PART 2 for this video answering some of your questions orally, so you can drop me any questions you may have in the section or on my FB page (as long as it's educative) and you're subscribed , though i will also suggest to watch my other videos which could answer some of your questions already! Thanks!
