  • CarVisionLA's Inesh R. travels to New Delhi, India and explores India's interesting car culture. We also get the opportunity to drive in a Maruti Suzuki Baleno in India and see how different this is from driving in the USA! Not only are we driving on the opposite side, there is so much more to be aware of including animals and livestock in the roadway. The Baleno starts at about 5.6 Lakh INR which is approximately $7,500 USD. It is very simple transportation and is perfect for navigating India's traffic. In this video, we explore driving in India, India traffic, transportation in India, and what it's like to drive in India. As an NRI American, this was truly an interesting and eye-opening experience and I look forward to highlighting more of India's amazing and interesting car culture in future videos! If you would like to see more videos of India from an NRI American's perspective, and USA vs. India cultural differences, be sure to hit that subscribe button for weekly content!

CarVisionLA, a non-resident Indian from Los Angeles, California, USA flies to India for the first time to experience the vastly different car culture. We drive a Maruti Suzuki Baleno, a domestic Indian car and see how different driving in India vs. driving in the USA is. This was an American in India reaction video and was quite a fun to make so I hope you enjoy it!

Drive like a normal Indian on European roads without adapting and you will soon...
      1) Appear in a "worst driving fails ever" type video. Those videos look more like instructional material when you have driven in India.
      2) Be on first name terms with the local traffic cops and magistrates
      3) Get yourself fined into oblivion
      4) Crash, possibly kill someone
I am a Brit who has been driving in India for the last 10 days. British driving is not perfect by any means but Indian drving is mad, often terrifying. Many of my instincts are just wrong here. If I drive safe by Euro standards I often find I am driving dangerous here. You would find the same there.

In India 2 in 10 violates traffic signal, 90% people will fail if there is a written test on traffic driving rules, atleast 3 in 1 either scold or get scold while driving, wrong side driving is quite common and people think they are driving correctly, quality of 50% road are pathetic, most of the Indian roads are planned during British era and before 50 years, hardly 1 or 2 cars passed on a road but now on the same road there 100 &100 vehicles running, this list goes on.... Ideally Indian roads don't fit for westerners....

And India mei maximum roads aise hi internal roads hote hai. Aur waise bhi ye agar main road mei jayega, toh 5 minute bhi zinda nai bachega 😂
