Just want to say thank you for taking the time to do this demo. The manual was poor in explaining and so was every other site on the net. The hands on demo explains everything. Once you see how its done its really not that difficult but getting to that point is frustrating. Thanks again. Awesome job.
I learned this method w/o the dvd just messing around.. it's a lot of fun once you learned this.. Discrete Drums have a couple of nice drums loops for BR Machines online.
i have a 1600 wich i nearly threw across the room when i first got it, it's that complicated that i didn't touch it for about a year, i got enthused again about a week ago and now it's starting to make sense ( with a little patience ) anyway this post is very helpful,ta, like your music by the way.

Nice job my friend , it seems Boss or Roland dont wish to bother with a tutorial on the BR-1200 which would have saved many lots of time , I myself had to blunder through the manual .

I have a BR800 and it has the level for the internal drums just like one of the track level faders, does this have an external know to adjust the drum level?
Question. I've download a couple of drum loops and uploaded them to my br1200. I'd get a silent inbetween loops(?) I've done this before with discrete drums but this new loops I'd get a silent (1/4 second) inbetween verse-fill-chorus-verse2-end etc..
