Enjoying these videos. I have a BR-1600 but I lost the demo songs and would like to have them back
If you are able to get your hands on them, do you mind sending to me? Thanks.
Yes I Would just don't think I will ever get them@@hertechprep
Im moving up from a micro br to the 1600. Ive had it for a couple years but never used it because of how complicated it would be. These videos really help and Im excited to start recording on it.
Great to hear Joey - thanks for the comment!
Once you start using it, it's quite logical, especially if you're coming from other Boss recorders. It wont take you long to get the hang of it.
great to see someone still doing a video on this machine
Thanks Robert. These machine were already out of vogue in favour of DAWs by the time YT was a thing, so there isnt much in the way of info on them on here.
Thats kind of why I decided to do these videos. Glad you're enjoying them.
thanks for the help. keep it coming! Particular need help with bouncing and mastering..
No problem Ossian, thanks for the suggestions. More videos are planned.
Enjoying the series. Keep them coming!
Thanks Fezzler! Just finishing up the next one, hopefully out next week.
Thank you for the videos!! I love my BR-1600 and is great can see it
Thanks Gabriel - they are great little machines aren't they!
Thank you so much for this informative video. Do you have any idea where i can get the Track Sheet you mentioned ? I will wait for your next video maybe about the mastering process. Please keep on going the good work .🙏
Thanks Rainer, I'm glad you liked the video.
Here is a link to the basic Track sheet for the BR1600 that I used in the video:

The next video is mostly done, on connecting instruments and sources to the BR1600 and basic recording.
Hopefully I should have it finished up shortly. I'll probably follow that with one on bouncing. Mastering is on my list and hopefully not too far off.
Thanks for taking the time to comment Rainer. Cheers MTK
@@masteringtoolkit The link to the Track Sheet says "deleted." Is it still out there?
@@Fezzler61 Sorry - I think I deleted it by accident - here's another link:

Hi. Do you still have these Demo songs?
need sound from speaker
I use to to own the 1180 but sold it,do you no were I can buy a new one I don't want a used one being unsure of the condition
Unfortunately they stopped making them in 2012. Getting one second hand is fine - there are only really 4 things to look for.
1. OEM power supply or an equivalent replacement. Using the wrong one can stop it booting correctly.
2. All the button work correctly. These do wear out particularly the transport buttons and the Yes and No and cursor keys. However, these are fairly easy to have replaced (or replace yourself if you handy with a soldering iron).
3. The HDD fails. Again easy to replace yourself.
4. The power button. I've seen a few either broken or faulty - just make sure it's working properly.
Good luck!
