This doesn't only happen on metrolink trains and it drives me insane.

They should have a series just like this for Caltrain and Metra

Watching this video right now as a family full of rude loud mouth individuals on the IE line are talking and laughing like hyena's at full volume in the quiet car. I'm about to report them to the metrolink staff if they don't keep it down. They are so rude and disrespectful. I can hear them through my ear phones at mid volume.

This was on a week day . The quiet car rules don't apply on Saturday and Sunday.

Follow up few months later. Thanks Metrolink for cracking down more on the quiet car ediquete on your trains ( especially on the San Bernardino line) Saw the conductor ( and other passengers) cracking down on unruly passengers acting up in the quiet car on the weekdays. Even had an unruly passenger booted off the train for causing a scene a few weeks back. Nobody has time for that mess.

The phrase is the same phrases from Episode 1. I think this was filmed on purpose. Also, on the train, the people are all sitting in one place, not scattered around the place. Also, how can the guy asking the woman about her etiquette, how can he hear the woman? Is the man going car by car?

Do you really believe it's real? It's the worst acting since The Room. It doesn't really matter anyway, as long as the get the message across.

Metrolink Quiet Cars are intended to be a peaceful atmosphere for those who want to rest or work without noisy distractions. Look for the words "Quiet Car" on the changeable message sign on the side of the passenger car. The Quiet Car is typically the second passenger car located from the locomotive.

She is talking loudly complaining about her coworkers saying he is loud and obnoxious……….uh, lady - why are you behaving like him then. Cause YOU are being loud and obnoxious on the train!!!!

Instructive, but hardly candid camera, rather bad wannabe actors, though they are easy to find in L.A. Why no overhead bins to place luggage like on trains in normal cities? Looks like plenty of room above if the designers were smart. Little room to put even a small roll-away under the seat and the floor could be sticky.
