What’s not to love on donuts!! They all looked great! In Louisiana they have beignets which are square donuts covered in powdered sugar and always have with a cafe au lait so yummy
Your videos are as addictive as those little donuts. Never saw them anyplace else even in the Russian/Ukranian food shops in NYC. ( Will be looking however, as some of the bakeries might have a facsimile but even if, those shops are so unique ! ) One more reason to visit that beautiful City. Thank you .
The good Pyshki are second old, and so normal bakeries which bake in the early morning do not feature Pyshki that have to be made continuously just as someone orders them. Therefore the shops that feature then do nothing else, just continuously making fresh small batches. Even an hour it too old to have good Pyshki.
As soon as you bit into that last one at 12:00 min, I heard the crunch and how much more puffed up it was and I could tell ALLL the way over here in the U.S. that those were the ones lol. Now I want a pyshki ;)

From Finland it would not be such a long way to travel St Petersburg or even Novgorod you introduced in other video. Checked the population of St Petes and was amazed to see its the same as population of Finland, thats just funny. 6:19 Kalinka song noticed, 160 year old masterpiece!
The population is larger than published because it counts the number of people registered in the city, about 5.5 million but there are at least 1.5 million registered as living somewhere else but living years or decades in St Petersburg. It really does not seem that large since each neighborhood has its own flavor, and most areas have wide streets and no more than 4-5 stories so it feel open ad human scale. Further out from the city center the apartment buildings tend to be very tall,

Well known that little old ladies know the best places for a snack....everywhere! Good tip for finding a place for a light lunch. They were a seafarers cake because they could stack them on a pole rather than chase a plate round the table on a rolling boat or ship.

The only one I have not eaten was the one at 20 Nevsky Prospect. The busiest one with a long line down the street in the late afternoon is Bolshaya Konyushennaya st, 25, so I usually bypass it. One is very convenient just 2 blocks away from my home Kuznechnyy Pereulok, 8. I often work with photo clients next door in the courtyard Kuznechnyy Pereulok, 6. There is no line, it is very easy to get to being across the street from Vladimirsky Metro station. I have been watching a lot of your videos this week, as I am visiting back to the US for a few weeks, the first time in 7 years. I will return to my adopted home of city center St Petersburg in 10 days. I really miss it. I first moved to SPb in 2000 and have loved every minute of it. One of the many reasons for my love of the city has been meeting so many very feminine, highly educated, fit, attractive women, like you. It is always a great pleasure to socialize with zero conflicts and absent the easily triggered people in most western collapsing societies. St Petersburg is a great place to live, But it spoils one, and they never want to return to "normal" cities in "normal: countries from which they came. You are a very good representative of your city.
Interesting! I have eaten Pirogi in Seattle where there is a large ex-USSR population of scientists and engineers. But never pyshkys. It looks great and you eat it so delicately! Are they all one flavor and flavor? Not like our donuts, if so. Looks like you saved the best for last. Russian federation really should pay you for the promotion of the RF and tourism. This might sound weird, but you have really nice teeth. The pyshki look delicious. You have to admire a girl who will eat several donuts in a single day! Most girls I know will shy away from eating just one for the fear of getting fat. The ones at 9:20 looked a bit soggy or oily, but I do like the architecture there. Yes, the last ones looked the best. So big and fluffy I could almost taste them myself.

They were not freshly made, the main secret to good Pyshki is being freshly cooked and still hot. Sitting even 1 hour and they are not so good,
