Amazing beauty and craftsmanship in all the homes. I am so thankful they are being kept alive for all to visit and see...B Beauty at its very best ❤!!!
Beautiful and stunning. They don't build homes like this anymore. I hope they're being kept up. We need to remember the past so we can look to the future. Thank you for all you do! 😊
The last time I drove past the house they finally tore down the dumpy apartment building that had a fire in it next door that hid the house. Now you can see it better coming from the west. I was also thinking he designed a house on west Wood Street that was demolished for a gas station in the 1980's. Probably many more Bloomington homes. The Chatteron Opera House building still exists but doesn't look like anything like it once did. Possibly he designed other opera houses that once stood in McLean County. Many small towns had opera houses. Possibly the one at Stanford,IL might still be standing.
What a Beauty.. Thank You UrbanEye for sharing pics of inside & other house's George H Miller designed.......

He certainly was a talented man. His own home looks quite eclectic from the outside with all the different windows and roof lines.

I hope someone restores it. Not tear it apart, paint everything, ruin and modernize it-ugh. Umm...it's spelled Echoes, not Echos. Just saying...
