  • In this video I share how to track insider transactions for free, in order to boost your stock returns. By viewing what stocks CFOs and CEOs are buying, you can gain confidence that you are investing in quality companies, where insiders have skin in the game. Everything is filed with Form 4s with the SEC and is available for free on the internet. I cover the ins and outs in this detailed training. Enjoy!

    Super nice to know the direction of a stock when insiders are buying. Many options to make money off of that. You can buy and hold or you can sell, put option contracts and make monthly income. Wow! So powerful!

    Awesome tool I have been closely monitoring insider buys. I think alot of retail traders just care about the quick money and trade based off chart patterns then alot of them build followings so never guide in the right direction and for the one that do know I believe they just keep to themselves. Awesome, I watched the full video and it answered all my questions on this website. I have made a decent profit off of just evaluating the charts since the pandemic started and was thinking about starting to look at the inside trading's.
    Very interesting call on the Zoom stock at the end though- all the insiders were selling for $120s and the stock went on to peak at like $560 in October... Goes to show- maybe insiders know their business but how the public will react and invest in the company- something a CFO can't even predict.

    • @calumx
      @calumx  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Insider selling is less of a signal than insider buying. If you look at almost any large tech company, they tend to issue ridiculous amounts of stock to their management and top employees. Tech stocks have been on fire and the valuations are very high for so many of these companies. Insiders are getting rich and most of them constantly are dumping their stock. It makes sense that they would do that. Their salary comes from zoom and if they are getting millions in stock options it makes sense to sell to diversify their portfolio.

    • @NoizProofContent
      @NoizProofContent 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@calumx So, companies like that are offering stock in their own company kind of like a pay bonus or something? Pretty cool concept if that is the case.

    • @calumx
      @calumx  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@NoizProofContent Yeah most tech companies pay out a large percentage of compensation as stock. So they pay some cash in salary and the rest in stock.

    INSIDER TRADING QUESTION
    Question: Re: Form 4, Table I, Box 6 & 7. In a (S) of Common Stock and Disposed (D), is the Indirect (I) "Beneficial Ownership" source (i.e Trust, etc), consist of a planned or pre-determined Transaction Date?
    To be clear, I only want to know if the transaction is a present time decision, or is the Transaction Date something that was predetermined or previously planned according to the instructions of a "Trust" or some other previous agreement? The reason I am asking the question is because if Box 7 is a "Trust", is the transaction made for the purpose of taking advantage of a current stock price, or was the “transaction date” preplanned and agreed to at some previous date, as per Trust instruction?
    To the point: If the transaction is about taking advantage of a current stock price, then it may influence me to make a decision to sell my own stock in that company. Or, if the transaction date was preplanned or predetermined, then it wouldn't influence my decision. Obviously, I am confused as to what the significance and role is of Box 7.

      Large funds file 13Fs to disclose what they own. I don't look into those myself. And I recommend doing a vipassana to get into meditation! First video on my channel is about that

    Is that kind of info limited to US companies ?

      It depends on the country. The US laws are very good and are obviously for US companies only. Each company has its rules and I am not sure on all of them. But I know that the US seems to have the best laws for that.

    I feel like this is all wrong ... wouldn’t a CEO/ CFO be purchasing to revive the business from sinking. How do we see the Mass of ppl who purchase a specific stock. Correct me if I’m wrong, please

      I am not sure totally what you mean. A CEO purchasing his own stock would not keep the business from sinking. It would have no effect on the business. What can happen though is that a CEO could purchase the stock to try to send a signal to the market or to get people to look into the stock. I am not saying it is always bullish at all and that is something you have to look out for.

    Great video can you do a video directly about Dr Timothy Springer and his company SELB seleca Biosciences. He’s really loaded on this stock and was a profound early investor in Moderna. Great non clickbait content and right to the point
