I was lucky enough to be in Stine's chat for a year, I've read his book over and over, studying the notes I wrote and follow some of his suggestions for years now.
Your videos are always worth a watch (you can always learn SOMETHING new (like how to spell or be reminded of something you've forgotten!). In this video you asked for other books to review. By coincidence I recently dug out a couple of my older books. The first is 'Trend Trading for a Living by Dr. Thomas K. Carr' which is rather good and includes scanning suggestions. He is a qualified Theologian & Trader so you have to put up with the occasional 'blessing'.... But generally a VERY useful book. There's also Martin Pring's 'Technical Analysis' which is handy but has likely been superseded by us researching definitions on the Internet. Key Pup the good work, NoAxe
I bought this book because of your great review. Unfortunately for a time perspective you obviously had to leave out a decent amount, but what you covered is great. This book turned out to be extremely influential to me, but also might be one of the best books I've read. It's as much a book to learn from as it is a text book in methodology. 100% recommend.

yeah he watches for huge moves out of a base, and says he will load up on the first major pullback to a longer-term moving average. This of course is backed by a strong earnings profile, which I don't suspect many people dig into all that much.
There is much more to selection of the stock after you find the pattern, the video helped me discover this book, but it only covers the tip of the iceberg.
Another excellent tutorial, Gareth. Many thanks. The summary of learning points at the end was helpful, especially the tip about using weekly or monthly charts. Please can you review a book on short selling soon please.

Nice learning video👍 Thanks for sharing 🙋🏻♂️. Sir, I've a question ⛔⛔⛔⛔⛔⛔⛔⛔👉👉👉👉👉 Can I say a stock is in uptrend on daily chart by DOW THEORY itself or it must be also uptrend on weekly chart by DOW THEORY also???????? Is it a correct idea for finding uptrending stocks???? Request you pls reply. Thanks
Hi - It all depends on your time horizon. If for example you have a very long view of a stock perhaps 5 years or more then a monthly chart will work better, if you have perhaps a short term 1 month view than a daily chart will be better. Personally I have approx 6-24 months view on most of my positions therefore I find the weekly chart more beneficial.
@@FinancialWisdom thanks for reply Sir but my question is not resolved. I know a stock is considered in uptrend by dow theory. But as per dow theory should it be uptrend in one timeframe or it should be uptrend in one timeframe higher also ???? I mean uptrend on dual timeframe. That's the question.
There is one mistake. That is at 2008 his Networth was between 33.3 to 50 million(Most probably 50 million)(Because he calculated that "2008 trade" can fetche him two or three times return and in that case his Networth will be in 9 figures
Despite the fact that stock prices fluctuate, what is the best method for capitalizing on the current market? I'm still undecided about investing $400k in my stock portfolio.
The market is volatile at this time, hence I will advice you get yourself a financial advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on the share/etf you focus on.
With the help of an investment advisor, I was able to diversify my $550K portfolio across multiple markets, and in just a few months, I was able to earn over $950K in net profit from high dividend yielding stocks, ETFs, and bonds>

Jesse displayed boom and bust trading behaviour. Luck, leverage, bull market, and some skill all played a part. When extreme profits are banked, it is wise to withdraw at least half the funds for other investments such as prime location real estate. There is never any rush to get back in after extreme windfall profits.
