Ross, I have been watching you for awhile and I have a question if you don't mind.
With my cash account I understand I can trade multiple times per day, what I don't understand is the settlement part. Do my funds settle and are unavailable to use for 2 days, at the end of the day or each individual trade? So if I have 5k to trade with and use only 2k to trade each scalp with, is that 2k gone for 2 days or can I keep using it over and over throughout that day?
Thank you, hope that's not too confusing.
      Thank you, Joshua

@@joshdyer6932you should use smaller Positions. You can't use 100% of your account in one day multiple times. Or you will get a good faith violation. It usually takes 2 days to settle.

I'm completely new to trading. I've watched numerous tutorials, but I'm still struggling to grasp the concepts. I'm eager to learn the ropes properly, and you seem to have a good handle on it. Those charts just confuse me. My goal is to become a profitable trader, but I'm uncertain how to implement risk management strategies. Since joining a trading channel, I've already lost $62k. I'm baffled by how people actually make significant profits in trading.

If you do decide to make new purchases, have an exit strategy ready. Consider taking partial profits quickly to lock in some gains. I've been in regular contact with a financial analyst since covid. Investing in popular stocks is now quite straightforward; the issue is determining when to buy and sell. My advisor makes investment and exit decisions for my account, which has risen to more than $500K in less than a year.

my biggest issue right now is I tend to not be patient enough to wait for stocks to prove themselves. I will overtrade them early on only to watch them later go way up from where I was initially trading it. Ive gotten good at technical analysis, evaluating the right types of stocks to trade etc. Just need to master the discipline which I can only seem to do about 50% of the time right now.

What I learned about myself from this video is that, I understand volume way more than I understand charting. It was clear as day when you drew the volume in at about 36:55 and I was able to predict the direction. If I understand correctly, to me the charts are just mapping out the volume. I do understand that the charts can tell you at what price to buy and sell. Most of the time the chart patterns look like Rorschach inkblots and I just don't see head and shoulders or tea cups, until its drawn out. I will definitely download the beginner-kit and study the patterns. Thank you for helping and making day trading make a little more sense for me. When I get this figured out and becoming a successful trader I will give you all the credit. ☺

And to trade alongside a group of people allows a collective thought process around the many given opportunities throughout the day. Thus, guiding a lot of my decision process before going into a trade

This video helped me regain my composure and focus today.(Friday 2_9) I am green $109. I stuck to my $100 dollar goal - picked 1 stock INBS (up 87% or more), after carefully checking it out, (it had news, had volume, was over VWAP, MACd and 8day average), I ended up trading it 7 times though, still not sure how that would work if I was trading in a small account of like 1k.

Ross I would love for you to do a video for beginner traders not knowing how to manage settled funds properly and the mental battle with that. I truly believe that many traders with a small account try and force too many trades because that is there last amount of settled funds to trade with.

Hi Ross, love Warrior Trading and your stock education! The first 15 minutes of trading some of these stocks can be so whippy/volatile. Do you wait for 'price discovery' like orb technique or when it breaks premarket highs, you jump in? Thank you again for everything!

Why dont you do a video when your growing a $1000 account on a cash account no margin? most new traders are under PDT rule and im sure you wouldnt recommend a new trader use margin right? so this small account challenge becomes sort of irrelevant for most new small account traders.

Why wouldn’t a new trader use margin??? I did when I started. As long as you manage your risk profile… as he states MULTIPLE TIMES… it’s not an issue. If you’re a new trader and there is only ONE thing you get disciplined on, make sure it’s risk management!

    • @iamphantom4099
      @iamphantom4099 24 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

@Cnick1891 he referring to the fact that you have day trading restrictions on a margin account . If you are doing a small account challenge you don't meet the $25000 requirement to day trade on a margin account

    • @iamphantom4099

Therefore you'll have to be on a cash account. Which is limited because you have to wait for unsettled funds to clear after trading.

On the Annie Duke note we as pokers call this thought theory variance. In poker there’s always going to be variance. As an example of you have AA and go all in ten times your supposed to win 80% of the pots if your all in pre flop. Now there’s going to be times you lose 5 times in a row with Aces but over time the numbers will average out so yes being results oriented is a bad way to learn. I’m still going to push Aces pre flop in the correct situations regardless of the results. The numbers don’t lie

looking forward to learning, correct me if i am wrong but i should look for a stock which is already increasing in value or (demand), it should also have a relatively small supply of shares so theres an imbalance between demand and supply. ideally the stock price is in a range from $2 to $20. micro pull backs are my first recognisable pattern and i should look out for them. but i should not jump in on the third one. also i should look out for a high volume pull back as it could be indicating a slow down or stop in growth in value. instead the stock should be ideally increasing in volume during the increase in value because this means the momentum is still increasing. CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG
