This is what I needed. My grandma made her pineapple cake like this and then she put a 7 minute egg white icing over it. I never knew how she did the pineapple glaze. Thank you so much for sharing! Looks delicious! 👌
Chef, I never knew how to make the glaze. What a cake. I always refrigerate mine. My son will go and put his in the microwave.No matter what kind of cake, he likes his warm. Either way, they are good. Really appreciate this recipe.
Chicken salad chick has a pina colada pie my wife wants me to make for her but, it’s really more like a coconut cream pie with a pineapple glaze like this on it. Thanks for the recipe. Haven’t tried it yet but, I’ll get back with you.
My families from the south this is exactly the way I make my pineapple filling also I just had a little bit of coconut sprinkle on top two on my cake Pineapple coconut cake, Sprinkle it on after the whole cake is put together, Your cake came out so beautiful and delicious looking 😋 mmmm You did an excellent job I grew up on this to still make it! and my old fashion dinner rolls butter dinner rolls, I still make them I am croissants my scratch. That’s why I appreciate this video. You’re doing it the right way.😘👩🏾🦲 I also take that pineapple feeling too and you can make fried pineapple pie’s with it too. If you let you glaze cool just a bit or at least 5 minutes, I believe it wouldn’t be so runny. My Grams glaze is never runny like. It looks TASTY tho!!

Yes Use 1 cup of sugar
Let the filling cool down before you put it on the cake. I'm wondering why you pile it on the cake before it cools down.
