This is my cover of an incredible song by Slash called Anastasia. I used a backing track in this cover so the original guitar sound is cut off. This song was actually quite difficult for me to learn (especially the long solo) but I tried hard and put all my heart into this cover. I feel nervous and really hope you like it. Thanks for watching.

No question, the middle-east theme blended in there is nothing short of a masterpiece. This is my favorite cover by far of this, she has the groove like noone else who covered it, just like in her muse covers.

haha is quite easy when you are an experimented guitarrist, I got to play Anastasia when I was 13 years old but the last solo was difficult to me, I could finally play it when I was 15. Just practice a lot and you'll see :)

***** by the way, Niko's cover was the first one that inspired me to start learning this song! he's a great player, better than me, no doubt. but still the sound quality isn't very good (I mean he plays along the original song, not the backing track so you can hear also Slash's solo guitar and the acoustic part sounds bad). I'm pretty sure she have practiced this for weeks, from learning the whole song, especially the guitar solo, and it all paid off...keep on rocking, pretty girl ! You inspire me (and a lot of people here) to keep playing my guitar even though I've been playing for more than 10 years , just for a hobby...:)

Mika Sihite never judge progress or talent by time or age. The efficiency, how you practise and how often you practise will effect it more than anything. Someone who practises well for 2H a day will improve more in a year than a person who plays 2 a week for 4h each session will in 10 years. Set small goals and rock on, your guitar journey will bring you to anastasia closer than you expect!
