No question, the middle-east theme blended in there is nothing short of a masterpiece. This is my favorite cover by far of this, she has the groove like noone else who covered it, just like in her muse covers.

People always ask "how can they play without looking?" It's because before making the video they practiced for more than 50 hours. :P This stuff takes a boat load of time to play perfectly
I'm pretty sure she have practiced this for weeks, from learning the whole song, especially the guitar solo, and it all paid off...keep on rocking, pretty girl ! You inspire me (and a lot of people here) to keep playing my guitar even though I've been playing for more than 10 years , just for a hobby...:)

Don' t worry pal. I've been an addict to brown sugar for the greater part of my whole life. I only turned away from that stuff about 20 years ago and went straight and sober. Marina might be a bit more destructive, i guess. High Five for your effort and keep on keepin' on. I still have made a career in the musicindustrie. I guess as a musician they just let you get away with whatever bad habits you've got because they love what your doing on stage. haha is quite easy when you are an experimented guitarrist, I got to play Anastasia when I was 13 years old but the last solo was difficult to me, I could finally play it when I was 15. Just practice a lot and you'll see :)

+Robbie Bubble Hey man you might want to try whatever pick your comfortable with...I prefer the lighter picks for fast picking, but i know people who prefer the hard picks and just barely use the tip...or you could just be between and use a medium.
Mika Sihite never judge progress or talent by time or age. The efficiency, how you practise and how often you practise will effect it more than anything. Someone who practises well for 2H a day will improve more in a year than a person who plays 2 a week for 4h each session will in 10 years. Set small goals and rock on, your guitar journey will bring you to anastasia closer than you expect!

Robbie Bubble Use a thicker harder pick with a good taper on the end. it makes it easier.
tried a 0.88 one. gives me noises when hitting the strings. this normal?
Go for thicker than 1mm. hold it loosely and if your pick is bendy it's not good.
Have you tried alternate picking mate?
+Robbie Bubble Hey man you might want to try whatever pick your comfortable with...I prefer the lighter picks for fast picking, but i know people who prefer the hard picks and just barely use the tip...or you could just be between and use a medium.

Mika Sihite never judge progress or talent by time or age. The efficiency, how you practise and how often you practise will effect it more than anything. Someone who practises well for 2H a day will improve more in a year than a person who plays 2 a week for 4h each session will in 10 years. Set small goals and rock on, your guitar journey will bring you to anastasia closer than you expect!
