- Pier Fishing with Weird BAIT for whatever bites.. Today we attempt to fish with Jellyfish as bait in the OCEAN for whatever bites off the pier in Florida! Would saltwater fish eat a jellyfish? What kind of fish would be around a pier like this?? We also brought a bucket full of some live shrimp and mud minnows. You never know what can happen when you go fishing at the saltwater pier! Will a saltwater fish eat a jellyfish? Can Jellyfish be used as bait? Is fishing with Jellyfish from the pier even a thing..? I did not expect for this to happen..

Hey man I’m a big fan been watching your vids for many years ik your in Florida so I recommend trying to fish some docks or canals for tarpon and snook even a private marina
Once, when I was little, I caught a catfish, and I was holding it wrong and the barbs on the side of their fins Went through both of my hands when I was 7.
I grew up catfishin here in Texas. I can’t say that I’ve ever even caught a bass. I am trying to change that tho. Love your content! Good luck!

Pull the shell off the shrimp and just put a shrimp ball on the end of your hook. Then, fish close to the surf and you’ll catch whiting.
Nice upload, the salt water cat fish is very nice to eat better than fresh cat, and watch for that barb I been stung once part from the burn u get really sick and dizzy u almost feel like ur drunk have a nice one can't wait 4 next one

On our trip to Rockport, there was a guy at the end of the pier that gave the cats he caught to us cuz he saw that’s what we were going for when just wanted trout. Those sail fins are just as good as freshwater. 😁
Salt water catfish are real soft meat and real fishy flavor. I've lived in south Florida for 63 years and no one eats them. Now freshwater catfish are great. Saltwater not so much.

You need to go after some shark. A black tail shark is really good. The rest of the sharks have kidney problems and unless you filet them right after catching them, they don’t taste good.
For the sting ray bring a hoop net for crabs.

Well that kind of catfish you don't want to try to eat. They are no good trust me. Those are called hardheads. If it's a gap top they're good hard heads are nasty.

If you are interested when you start traveling back down the coast I would love to do some fishing with you I live right by the the river and near the ocean in the Carolina's and I own some kayaks and also I live out of city limits so you are more than welcome to park your camper on my property but I understand you don't know me well or anything like that but contact me if you are I really could use a fishing buddy.
