I respect all Starbucks employees. They’re always slammed and seem to have such a hectic work space sometimes and they are always sooo nice and keep their cool. And yes the target Starbucks is always busy too!!

gosh i work at a regular starbucks and even when we’re down one person i start to get all rushed and panicked, HATS OFF TO ALL TARGET STARBUCKS BARISTAS!!

@@Mikahsatori Venti iced white mocha, half decaf and it looks like it says with whip cream! white mochas come with whip cream already so i'm not really sure why it's written but i worked at Starbucks for 3 years and know how to read the cups
Starbucks doesn’t deserve you girl! Your attention to detail and quality is immaculate. Food/customer service can be really draining, please keep that spark bc the care you put in is so hard to come by! Loved this ❤️
The other day I was getting a Starbucks in target and the girl that was working wrote “you have a beautiful smile:)” on my lid and I think it was the nicest thing ever I will never forget it. A little kindness goes a long way. I’d like to work at Starbucks when I’m old enough and I hope I can do that too

This brought back so many memories of working at Starbucks like 7 years ago. What a horrible time 😂 if you’re a starbucks employee please quit and go find a small local coffee shop to work at, I promise it’s 100x better! You’ll actually learn how to dial in an espresso machine lol
I love this type of videos with music at a very low volume , and watching how everything is prepared before they open is so relaxing I feel the morning and quietness
The best part of the video was the preparation of hot and cold coffees along with grinding. Please make more such videos of coffee preparation (that involve iced coffee, cold brew prep, brewed coffee prep), which make your videos so special ... thank you.

I wish Starbucks did more content like this- showed us bts, let us know their baristas, etc. Also they need to figure out how to get the cinnamon dolce syrup back I'm desperate to order one lol.

try ordering it again! most starbucks just got restocked on our cinnamon dolce syrup along with toffee nut, hazelnut, and raspberry!

This is so cool! I wonder why Starbucks puts real food in the display case instead of display/fake realistic looking food. It seems wasteful since you guys can’t serve it to the customers.
Sometimes they use expired ones.
It is sooo wasteful and I hate doing it. Now, Sometimes we keep the sandwiches/egg bites in the case for a couple of days, but the pastries get replaced brand new every single day and tossed every single night. We never use expired stuff. Mostly because we never have expired stuff, and it’s probably nasty. I don’t understand why Starbucks doesn’t have a better way of displaying food other than just wasting one of every food item, every day. Before the pandemic, we used to be able to serve out of the pastry case (for a little while), so it was less wasteful.

girl I work at a high volume regular Starbucks but I am SO impressed by target sbux, y’all are so skilled to handle everything by yourself or with just one other person!
I use to work at target cafe when I was 19 I loved it. I remember working only one day at the Starbucks there oh my goodness it was so hard I really respect Starbuck employees y'all work hard!!! 💖💖💖💖
I had to cover a shift because a few people were sick that day. If you work at Target they normally cross train almost everyone.

I enjoyed your video, I use to work at a Target Starbucks as well as a Starbucks store and I absolutely loved working there. That was the first company that instilled the importance of having great customer service, not sure if the company still enforces certain standards but overall I had so much fun as a barista. Back then they didn’t have all of the fancy drinks like now so things were much more simpler then!

Loved this video!!!! My favorite is the iced white mocha. I’m sad bc the one I go to in my area sucks at making them lol. They use to be sweet and good now they just taste like weak coffee 😩😩😩😩 I wish I could have the same barista to make the good drinks lol

Current Starbucks barista here! my advice would be to ask for more pumps of white mocha (to make it sweeter) or try adding another shot of espresso (to make it stronger). Either way, I notice some baristas don’t shake the cup with the espresso in (we are trained to do that so the chocolate and espresso mix together to create a rich flavor) but sometimes baristas skip this step because of how busy it might be during a rush. Regardless, if you were one of my customers I’d be more than happier to make you something nice and sweet. :)
Perhaps they don’t mix the syrup with the espresso, so all you’re tasting is milk and espresso

@@anahio8643 hi! I had a super nice trainer who was patient with me so learning how to make drinks, coffee, and operate the register was so much fun!! My favorite task was making the drinks, I didn’t like dealing with customers. That probably was the most difficult part for me, taking down orders that were so complex haha I also loved the benefits SB has to offer. I ended up quitting after two months bc of personal life reasons. I would definitely go back and work with SB. TIPS - id say to be patient with yourself bc everything will seem overwhelming at first. You don’t have to know everything in the first week. My manager told me it took her 3 months to memorize all the recipes. Always ask questions when you don’t know what something is or how to do something. And lastly have fun because working at Starbucks is really fun ☺️ congratulations and good luck on your first day :D

I used to work at a tarbucks and I would throw my ice into the iced coffee pitcher before brewing my coffee :) it helped cool it down a bit faster, especially when I was only given 30 minutes to open some days

@@sydneyiannucci6002 lol I work at the second busiest Starbucks in Austin Texas, we go through well over 100 gallons of milk a day and we average about 10,000 in sales a day it’s crazy

I drive by a Starbucks everytime I go to work. And i don't know why but I romanticize working as a barista so much. I love looking through the tram window as the baristas prepare the shop in the morning and serve their first customers. I know its everything but relaxing but watching it relaxes me somehow. I worked in retail so I know how hard customers can be. Ngl everytime I see a horrible customer I'm glad that I switched to office work. Therefore big thanks to all the people dealing with customers 😅

Tarbucks over here we are currently sitting at 1.07 million for the year so far in sales which is fucking insane. We are doing 3700-4000 days with 6000 weekend days, currently, lets switch Tarbucks! 😅

ex-F&BTL so I feel your pain LMAO😭😭 a tip to make it easier for the display, just clip the display clips and wash them with the trays!! just be sure to have the closers take all the signs off, saves so much time!! there’s been a time where I had to do hella OT bc a closer didn’t come in (me being the mid) and I was there 11-9:45 w no lunch/break coverage🤩

Ahhh the days. Did this for 3 years and lemme tell ya, closing alone was probably my least favorite thing to do bc of all the NORMAL Starbucks closing things you have to do WHILE serving the guests

When I worked at Starbucks in Target we were always busy and short staffed but eventually got used to it. We had to use food in the display case but I’m sure things have changed in 10 years lol.
My only feedback and honestly it’s just me being like a barista trainer and this and that, watch your proportions especially with shaken espresso, it’s a splash of milk and def not a latte but I mean honestly you’re great and I see your beverage routine is even pretty better than most of the new green beans I get in my store. good job :) I loved watching. I’m just being a nerd 🤓 all love meant
I think maybe you got something mixed up but she definitely did the shaken espresso right. The recipe card for the BOSE says to “top with oatmilk to 1/4” below the rim” just after pour your shaker contents in your cup. Same thing applies with just a regular shaken espresso but with 2%.

omg i got cross trained at starbucks cause i used to work at a barnes and noble ‘starbucks’ and gah lee they’re both equally bad but target starbucks- we can have 4 people working and it’ll still be chaos plus we shared our fridges w the deli so it was always so messy trying to restock. AND our space was so small it felt so packed with 3 people behind the counter

Yo, your store is calm as heck. In our morning shifts, it's chaotic as frick and I always look like I have 5 or 7 kids that I'm taking care of, but it's actually just me stressing over all the food and drinks we gotta send out and customers waiting and the time lmao.

Not very often I go to Starbucks but when I do, I get so much anxiety for the workers because they are usually understaff, always a person ringing the customers, making em drinks, and then serving the drinks! One person doing all of those! I’m like, I can never.
