today let's chat a little bit about the nitty gritty. the deep dark details... the little things that make up the bigger picture! in this video we're going to discuss some interview questions and answers, but primarily focusing on the MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION some hiring managers will hit you with... so be prepared!
next we'll discuss some common mistakes made in the interview, following up and first day. take notes luv! make sure to avoid these mistakes so you have the best chance at #1 getting hired and #2 maintaining your green apron.

That was basically it for me it’s mostly scenario questions about problem solving

I had an interview with Starbucks two days ago and got hired as a Shift Supervisor! I didn’t know the interview process would contain a lot of questions as you’ve said but I nailed in through various interview experience!! Especially why starbucks question. I said that I have a lot of friends working at Starbucks and I see how they stay at their location for a long time. I always wondered how it is like to work at Starbucks and what makes things different. I thought I got denied receiving automatic declining email from Starbucks right after the interview but got a call the day later.
My problem is that I’m horrible at being fake which so the entire point of interviews. I’m horrible at lying and saying these answers would feel like I’m lying and it makes me very nervous. I’m neurodivergent so this is a common problem for me but I still usually get jobs I apply for
If you keep practicing these answers and play around with it and make it yours you will start to make it yours and therefore it won’t be lying😊

@@maria__.6692for me, who is quite quiet and introverted I’ve told myself to just flip the switch to my other side of myself who is more outgoing and confident, even if you come off as awkward trust me it’s better then not trying 😭
You'll get better naturally as you go to more interviews; hell go to interviews you don't even feel strongly about just to get more practice
Girl nowadays we have to be fake my manager even told me that we have to be fake and out in act .
For every job that I have had i always call the manager immediately to let them know I have submitted my application just so they are on the lookout for it when it comes through.

I used your videos and got my interview although yesterday was open interviews so I did tht because they took a while to reach me through my application, I feel like I did 80-90% good tho, I had trouble with the question about how to build customer connections it was a lil tricky to answer since I haven’t worked in a long minute but your videos helped me so much thank you, & now I just wait for next mid-Wednesday because the hiring manager is on vacation. I hope I get hired because she said there was gonna be more applicants, basically I’m in competition. I hope I passed

Thanks for the "im new" card tip. Hopefully i get a call back soon but while i wait im gonna practise my customer service voice so i dont stutter or get extremely nervous when a customer talks to me

my hiring manager immediately gave me the job at the end of the interview. I know that is a red flag but I'm guessing that means I don't need a follow up email lol

i had my interview and it went well, i got the job for a new opening Starbucks near my house, so i did my training at another Starbucks in the next town over it was really fun im still training until the the place opens so im excited and nervous.
Which location? I just applied to a new one opening too

@@Aliakamzz_hey just a tip call the location you applied at and let them know your name and introduce yourself. And then go in physically but ask when the hiring manager will be in beforehand

Hiii so I just got hired at a licensed location to work at a Starbucks!! I talked with the hiring manager of the over all store, and she said that my Starbucks manager would reach out to me very soon with a schedule and date for training! How long does this usually take? (For reference, it’s been a day now).

Here are some suggestions for that are doing the hiring: don't leak out the reason why the CEO resigned and then let your potential employee know that there might not be a budget for payroll since he has hired four staff supervisors for a low volume coffee shop.

I had an interview a few days ago and wasn't asked any of the questions that you are talking about. He wasn't ready for the questions that I asked. I had a million dollar answered for the million dollar question and wasn't asked the million Dollar question.

@@janvigajjar6087 I was asked, name a time when you tried to fit in and what I did. Another, give an example of a situation when you disagreed with a supervisor and how did I handle that situation. I had great responses for the questions but he was clearly not ready for my questions.
They didn’t ask not one of these questions in my interview.

How to get job's at Starbucks?
So I just had my interview yesterday and was wondering is a follow up the same as a thank you email? I sent a thank you email a few hours after my interview but I didnt ask about whether I got the job or not I just said that standard “It was so nice meeting with you today and thank you for giving me an interview” etc. 😭 I hope it’s fine I sent that email on the same day as the interview cause it’s just a thank you email and not a follow up?
