I love the Allie chrono beauty SPF, I like the way it sinks in super fast like nothing and goes so well under makeup. I've already repurchased it. I have medium skin and no white cast at all on me
allie sunscreen is the best and only sunscreen that i ever had ✨ it’s fit so well on my skin and sometimes i only apply this when i in rush ❤️ it’s does bright up my tune in the very good way look natural on me and giving me the flawless looking skin,i’m really appreciated it and definitely will keep using it 🥰
Try the SNP UV Perfect Air-Cool Sun Cream SPF 50+ PA++++!! its perfect for summer..it literally cools down your face immediately and is super lightweight. No cast and it has this sweet candy smell to me but its very very light.
Yeah, so far I haven't found a Japanese hybrid sunscreen that works for my skin tone. At best, they leave a purplish glow to my skin, which is weird and off-putting, but most of them have me looking casket ready. 💀 edit - not actually looking for sunscreen recs, folks. I'm good. 😂
Yeah, sunscreens with certain undertones make me a little unsure if they'll work for my skin tone also, so I can be picky, but- casket ready took me outtt.😭🤣

@@violetviolet888 That's a great list! Thanks for sharing it. But as I live in Asia, I prefer to not to use Western brands as they tend to be quite expensive here. While mineral and hybrid sunscreens are always a problem, there are actually quite a lot of chemical sunscreens available locally that are amazing.
The Biore water essence sun screen is good for darker skin tones. I used it when I studied abroad in Japan and I still order it at home in America because it’s the only one that doesn’t break my face out or leave a white/purple cast. I have dark brown skin.
@@TsubataLately Have you tried Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture something something by Rotho Mentholatum? The one that has two versions, pink (tinted) and blue (clear.) I intentionally look for SPF that makes me look casket ready, for goth reasons. And the blue one left me disappointed, Lol. The pink version gived off a major white cast, but the blue one was undetectable on me. I have light skin so that only means so much, but for example it didnt mess with my olive undertone like many jp and kr spf try to "correct". Looked like I wasnt wearing anything. If you ever find a store sample maybe its worth a shot! It uses a few modern filters + zinc oxide. Personally I dont imagine the SPF is as high as the packaging states, or long lasting by how the formula feels, so maybe not for 40 degree beach days. But for day to day it would work for sure.
I have dry skin as well and I usually use a gel cream as an in-between step between my lotion/essence/serum/whatever and my cream/balm (or SPF during daytime). It makes a lot of steps but I like the fact that it contains just a tiny bit of emollients to seal hydration from your previous step and give more confort during daytime if your SPF is a little bit drying.
I was late to the q on Instagram, but it would be cool to see a video/your thoughts on what trends you’ve seen in skincare/beauty recently. Or just what path you see skincare going into ie moisture, anti-aging, etc
Hi Tina!! Have you tried the Ozio royal jelly gel from Japan?? (The one with the yellow lid) Would love to see you reviewing it ~ I love J-beauty and one of my fav brand is the Hada Labo!! Love their toners, cleanser & oil cleanser!!
heyyy🎉skinfood is also my fav brand.I used it in high school too.omggg the skinfood egg pore cleansing oil is the bestttttttt although now I use many others. but it was the first cleansing oil and it was the best.
I love tina a lot and I still wanna say my opinion even though i know a tons of people gonna call me mean or tell me to shut up. I personally have a hard time telling the difference between "glass skin" and "oily greasy looking skin."
I think that there's a fine line between having glass skin and looking oily, and it's very easily crossed. Also, glass skin is a popular trend in skincare, but not necessarily everyone's preference. You shouldn't feel bad just for not liking something, especially when it comes to your own face. And thank you for sharing your opinion. 😊
Of course you are entitled to your opinion and thank you saying it in a 'non-negative' way! As Jennifer said, I personally prefer the dewy look and it's definitely more of a trend it Asian Beauty and always has been 😌 It's what I like so that's why I want on my own face - although I know it's not for everyone!
I've read a lot of reviews on the Klair's cleansing oil. Many say it feels like water and they needed several pumps to feel like an actual oil and feel it's doing something. Hence wasting the product too fast.
Hi Tina, just found your video and I love your reviews, it's really thorough and informative. Will you also be able to review your eye make-up as well? Love love love your eye make-up!💕
off topic, but i just wanted to say thank you. i was choosing between the wishtrend green tea enzyme cleanser and the good molecules one, and your review of both is what helped me decide. i picked the wishtrend, and i love it. thanks again.
The Muji Mild Oil Cleanser. If you want to try, be careful to choose the *_Mild_* Oil Cleanser. The other oil cleanser from Muji has a nearly identical name, but the texture is quite different.
Tina, can you do your latest makeup routine?🥹 We have similar skin tone and I’ve been looking for J or K beauty brand foundation without feeling stuffy
Unfortunately I can't do sunscreens with to much alcohol content. It's such a shame since I love the overall use of Japanese sunscreens, but my skins says no :/
I promised myself not to buy any more skincare until i finish up one that i have but you're tempting me 😑😑😑
Same here 😅
For real, I be breaking the bank🥲
Me too.
In the same "boat" 😅. Ida

Very smart! acting almost like an emulsion - this is actually why emulsions are so popular in Japan 😏

I’m darker, as for Allie the cast is there it’s not obvious but a dullness. I have to apply lightly a colored setting powder.

To be honest, I stay away from the dewy skin stuff because I feel like it makes me look oily.

the whole temperature difference thing is probably just liquid evaporating tbh
