Oily skin gal here! Here’s my take on the Isntree SPF. I’m very oily throughout the day but I suffer from dehydration a lot. Not only that but I break out pretty easy from new products when I try them out, as I’ve noticed if they’re not friendly for acne-suffering skin! The Isntree SPF was such a slam dunk for me, not only did it not leave me feeling greasy as the day progressed plus application? But it felt so soft and hydrating all the same! Personally I love the dewy look it gives me. I do sometimes feel a tingle from the spf on my eyes but tbh, all chemical sunscreens do that to me since I have sensitive eyes/skin around that area while I sweat at work. I wish it was more accessible for me to buy from Europe but when I did try it, amazing product! Everytime you do reapply, I do recommend using a light tissue/kitchen towel paper to dab your face a bit before reapplication so you pick up some excess oil before you reapply- since I can say reapplying spf’s that are more hydrating through the day can get a bit annoying.

I have tried the Isntree Sunscreen and I have oily combination/sensitive skin. I love the texture and how it feels, but it's broken me out everytime I've used it 😭 I oil cleanse and face wash as usual, but it still breaks me out. It's the only new item I've incorporated in, so I know it's the sunscreen. I'll definitely use it for my neck, hands, and arms tho!

And I’ve been watching your content ever since. For chemical exfoliant I also hesitate sooo much before doing it. And after using bunch of mild-exfoliating products then go a bit intense I find they’re not too irritating for my face. And I find that if I use chemical exfoliant regularly, I can skip using clay mask.

Do you ever repurpose stuff? Like that glycolic toner, if it isn't working for your face, save it for your elbows or other places on your body where you get dry skin. It helps there, too! I once bought a face lotion with alpha hydroxy in it that made me break out, but my mom suggested using it on my legs because they get so dry in winter and, man, it really did help! So yeah, repurpose that stuff!

i have the cosrx propolis mask. i don’t have the issue of it being tacky like you. it isn’t moisturizing enough for me, so i put a facial oil on top of it. maybe you could try a facial oil on top also? also the gm glycolic toner you can use it on your other body parts like arms, armpits, legs, feet, hands, etc.

So I just bought the Isntree HA watery sunscreen gel. I'm actually very impressed. It doesn't burn or sting my eyes. I bought mine for $26 on Amazon. 😳. Yikes right!? It's similar to the Hada Labo UV whitening gel. The blue jar but that one burned my eyes bad due to the alcohol in it. Such a bummer cause that sunscreen is lovely. 😞

Hi Tina, the tingle is normal with glycolic acid, it doesn’t get better over time. I think your skin tone is even and you don’t need it 😃

i have the cosrx propolis mask. i don’t have the issue of it being tacky like you. it isn’t moisturizing enough for me, so i put a facial oil on top of it. maybe you could try a facial oil on top also? also the gm glycolic toner you can use it on your other body parts like arms, armpits, legs, feet, hands, etc.
For exfoliating you should use Cos De BAHA Azelaic Acid 10 Serum, it’s gentle enough as well as effective. 💕

So I just bought the Isntree HA watery sunscreen gel. I'm actually very impressed. It doesn't burn or sting my eyes. I bought mine for $26 on Amazon. 😳. Yikes right!? It's similar to the Hada Labo UV whitening gel. The blue jar but that one burned my eyes bad due to the alcohol in it. Such a bummer cause that sunscreen is lovely. 😞

I was wondering if you have ever used any of Chifure’s skincare? I have been eyeing it up in the drugstores here in Japan as it seems really affordable, plus a lot of it is fragrance and other irritant free AND they are one of the very very few Japanese brands to list percentages of their ingredients! I’ll let you know if I try one of their products but just wondered if you have ever used them too.
