Thank you for inviting us along on your travels. Lema is so cute! I have retired from teaching in New England and am now living in sunny, sub tropical south Florida. It is so fun to look at the snow and not have to think about cleaning it off the driveway. What a gorgeous place! You gave me chills when you pointed out the mountain where people escaped during WWII. Freedom is precious. So great to see young people enjoying themselves on that very spot.

Lovely vlog Jo very envious! A retreat with all the trimmings indeed. Everyone needs some quiet time for reflection, but the views and company make the trip. Laughing when dave said he'd barely left his flat, but then again, his job is quite full on, so I expect he was chilling doing exactly what he wanted. I'm glad you returned in one piece! X

Great vlog Jo. I used to ski once or twice a year but stopped a few years ago. I don’t miss the skiing but I do miss those blue skies and clean air! You were very wise not to go tobogganing. The worst injury I had from those holidays was from a moonlit toboggan run! I’d have loved to have seen the welcome you got from Myrtle on your return. I guess she was overjoyed to see you.
I agree...I tobogganed three years ago...but didnt want to risk it this year

Having just got 30cm of Thundersnow in Toronto and 50 cm in last ten days it’s so funny to see enthusiasm for the white stuff . What a lovely trip for you! It was beautiful! Jo, I wish you wouldn’t apologize for how you look, hair, makeup etc… I am also 68 , hardly wear makeup except for sunscreen, concealer and lipstick. You look lovely and there is no “holy grail “ product. Just do the best you can.💕

I tried to order the cookbook but they don't ship to the US. How funny Dave came to LA for a holiday -- I am in LA and would go to London for a holiday. " The grass is always greener..." Jo, next time you get your haircut, please ask for a bixie, a hybrid of pixie and bob. Check the youtube videos to see versions of it, very trendy now. @@MiddleAgedMinx From my research - it should be diluted significantly. I like it in a glass of hot water with a slice of lemon sometimes and drank slowly in the mornings or before a meal during the day. Do your own research Jo or ask a Doctor on your show next time one comes in.

My secret to supporting the drooping in my skin is Sculptra. Not cheap an it's an inyectable, but not, I repeat NOT a filler and it lasts at least 2 years.
I encourage you to check it out. It supports through the build up of your own collagen. I'm 49 and always get told I'm around 32 or younger.
Such a lovely vlog Jo. Austria is just stunning. Totally understand your reticence about risking injury. My lovely bff (a great skier !) broke her ankle skiing recently and it’s had such an impact on her life and she’ll be off work for around 4 months 😢 (we’re airline crew so on our feet a lot!)
