CORRECTION: For 2023 gcse physics, you'll be getting an equation sheet also, just like the one in 2022, so no need to memorise any equations.

It’s been confirmed that 2024 candidates will also get an equation sheet.
To be honest, I’d rather memorise the equations and have lower grade boundaries.
It doesn’t really make sense to me as Covid didn’t affect us during gcse years, only in years 7 and 8.

Physics is really easy to get loads of marks with an equation sheet, literally putting numbers in a calculator

Oh wait really? Is it the same as the 2022 one, because usually you only get a few formulas but for our year they gave every single one
I used to be able to do 8 hours a day in the summer holidays in year 10, now I can’t make myself do anything ;-;
i feel you, im currently struggling to get back to the same state of mind as year 11, but i'm starting small and slowly increasing and its slowly working

Would you recommend the revision workbooks you mentioned for Science, or would you recommend the Grade 8-9 revision workbooks? I'm aiming for 9s in all Sciences, but I'm just wondering which workbooks would be with it.
I personally used the normal ones, and they were very useful, I only had the 8-9 one for maths but honestly I found the normal one more useful

@Nouman Sami, This is a great and helfpul video! I have question which is; Im still making Anki flashcards as im learning the content-I started revision late :(- An Anki is helping me so much with memorisation because of of its spaced repetition algorithm. Should i keep going with flahscards?
Yeah definitely, but try prioritising them for topics you find difficult to remember, don't spend too long making flashcards on things you already know, and if you find that when you're doing exam questions and you forgot a piece of information, make that into a flash card so you don't forget it again.

start preparing now so you’re not cramming, make sure you go through plenty of questions so you know what you’re doing

@@winterlionxv take a deep breath and keep reminding yourself that u are capable of doing it. u r more stronger than these exams, remember that. I have anxiety too when facing questions, when I was doing my GCSEs I went through that but once I entered the exam hall and looked at the question paper I realized I knew most of the stuff, that helped me calm down. so, even while practicing, start the timer and pretend u're in the exam hall and that u know everything (just pretend), eventually u'll see what u're capable of. Hey Nouman, i was wondering if you had some advice for year 9s, I'm currently in year 9 but I'm struggling to decide whether I should start revising for my GCSEs now or if I should wait until September when I get into year 10 inshallah. Btw hows fasting going?
Hi! Year 11 student here, i'd say you shouldn't worry about it too much at the moment but if you wanted to start now then absolutely go for it! The earlier you start the better because I only started revising a few months ago and am really feeling the pressure now so maybe you could start making flashcards/ notes now but again you've got loads of time so don't worry :)
I 100% agree, you're in year 9, you really don't need to do anything apart from just understand the topic each lesson and perhaps make a start on making revision material as said. I personally in year 9 didn't do any revision unless an exam was coming up.

i struggle with electric motors and the acceleration practical (the one with the car) so if you have any tips on that
I'd say to try find some videos explaining it and then just do some questions on it from PMT
Hey my physics exam is 16th November and I'm still struggling alot and do you have any like how our paper will be and this year the grade boundaries are really high and I'm really scared and tensed right now 😢😢

All of electromagnetism is painn, and yeah ramadan is going very well alhamdullillah so far, it's felt easier than last year for some reason, but I have been sleep deprived on many occasions getting home late from taraweeh and then going to school early the next day. These holidays came in clutch

It's not late at all, but for me the way to go is flashcards, but it really depends on what you find effective to learning information
I struggle with revising emg lit n lang what we're the main things u done for both especially this close to exams
I wrote constant essays and gave them to my teacher, and for lit, I reviewed my quotations regularly, that's pretty much it
hey nouman do you recommend doing every pamt or cognito practise work booklet for every mini sub topic
basically every single practise q work booklet on cognito for all sciences so i have done practise qs for everthing in science

Yeah definitely, but it really depends on what you do for your revision each day, quality over quantity

Hello I am reaching the end of year 10 and I really enjoy physics I’m going to try what you have said what is the minimum grade you recommend at gcse to go on to A level physics
most schools accept a minimum of grade 6 in physics but i'd also recommend u get at least a 6 in maths
