Lovely video. Very interesting. I painted Victoria Hall and the Mousalium as part of my art degree. Born in Bradford @ the Duke of York, in the 60s and had family from Heaton.
Saltaire old station was closed not the railway itself....and the Shipley Pride is not at the Victoria Road junction........some brilliant photos on this video...there is a video on the Yorkshire Film Archive of some of the old buildings in Shipley being demolished ..........my dad was born on Atkinson Street..would love to see any old pics of the now demolished houses there. Mum was born at Hillside Cottages in Windhill site on which my Grannys flat was located later. I was born at Woodend in the flat above my Great grandparents
Congratulations! This is an extremely professional production and warrants more than a few views on TH-cam (contact West Riding Archives Service?). I do remember quite a few of the locations pre-1968 - The Fox & Hounds gave the name to the crossroads as "Fox Corner"
Wonderfully video of where I was born, in 1951 at Jane St. Very happy memories of my childhood but now that wonderful place is spoilt with traffic and wheely bins, very sad.

I'm on Baildon at the moment then Bingley - Marsden is a small village so i may add Meltham nearby, if i cannot find enough photos - but i'll see what i can do 🙂
