Been in this hobby for 25 years (I’m only 33 lol), had a few brands throughout the years. Was one the Traxxas hate wagon for awhile bc of how they acted in the industry. However I’m over it and now I strictly run Traxxas. It’s nice knowing I can easily get parts and aftermarket support for all my rc. This year I bought a Tmaxx 3.3, nitro rustler, nitro slash, used nitro 4-tec pro, Blast(boat) and a vintage nitro vee boat lol.
I’m an arrma hater myself. Got talked into buying one at horizon fest a few weeks ago and it’s been nothing but problems. My kids Traxxas Bigfoot is 100x greater than the arrma.
Your going to love the EZ Start definitely. I've had them both the 3.3 revo and the 3.3.T Maxx is my favorite but the reverse on the revo is nice but it ended up causing problems. 20% fuel for break in then 33 after, you will be good to go.Definitely get a wheelie bar, your going to need it. Nice truck!
"Engine is pretty easy to get to"......just wait until you have to service the diffs and having sway bars makes access an even more of a pain in the buttocks. In any event, I've gone through my Traxxas nitro phase and at the end of the day, the Savage nitro wins, particularly for me, the XL. Savage has proper 1/8 driveline, big block engines drop right in, can use many standard 1/8th scale pipes, clutches and clutch bells, it's a 3 speed baby and is much more durable. Traxxas is still supporting those ancient nitros so you have to give them credit for that. I do hope you enjoy that 3.3 Revo! You might find that a push rod or two will rip out (there is an upgrade for that) and you may strip a trans gear or two but that will depend on your bashing style. Revo 3.3 will definitely out handle just about any typical (not truggy based) MT in box stock form but the 3.3 is underpowered if you're used to bigger engines.
Even the link is crap loses bind and even rendered my vxl6s useless red flash of death on my erect 2.0 I’m rebuilding my 3.3 Revo new engine will be here tomorrow 👍
@@RazorRC Really? China and Taiwan border each other. So does that make that big of a difference... Really? Kyosho has a US headquarters in California. So Kyosho is every bit as American as Traxxas.
@@khrisyeet8022 Seriously? Of course it makes a big difference. Can you tell the difference between French and German cars? They border each other, so they're like the same country, right? Anyway, high-end race kits are made in Taiwan and the low end RTR's are made in China. And yes, I'm aware of Kyosho America, I've been to their headquarters. Your original point is fair though that none of these are truly made in America, although nothing is really (Vanquish?).
@@khrisyeet8022 China and Taiwan border each other about as much as the US and Cuba do. Traxxas is more american than Kyosho. i love looking in the comments of videos like this just to see people arguing over toy cars. really makes the hobby look inviting.
That battery adapter peice is for charging the hump pack
For when you go to get new filters, you can use Losi 8ight filters as well, such as the Protek pre-oiled filters
Mine will be here 7/7. Can't hardly wait!

Good video review bud 👍👍
That's really nice always wanted a nitro bit the adult community neighbors would go nuts lol wish they made gas crawler
The infraction has a really patriotic colour scheme 😊🇬🇧🇺🇸 🤘
I absolutely love my Kyosho usa-1 but the steering sucks on it. Put a Chevy or ford body on this bad boy and you got a merica machine
Sad that the guy who created the original usa 1 is a conspiracy theorist
New sub! Liked 🙏😛

These things are straight out of 2010
Biggest usa brand made in Taiwan lol
You’ll end up doing forward only and taking out all that crap
Sad that the original builder of the usa-1 is a conspiracy theorist:/
No way. Traxxas isn't any more American than Kyosho. They are all from China anyway. Kyosho USA 1 Nitro would destroy the Revo.
Traxxas headquarters is in Texas. Kyosho in Japan. And Traxxas is not made in China, it's made in Taiwan.
