Not a fan of the 2in1 ESC, but everything else seems like a winner. If they are going to use a 2in1 I wish it had the feature (like most of Arrmas previous 2in1's) to add an external receiver so I can use my own transmitter without having to upgrade the esc also on day one.... If it is compatible, I will eventually swap my 3s typhon chassis and slipper with this chassis and center diff.
I love this yellow. Actually I'm just realizing it is almost the exact same color yellow as the Tyco Typhoon II I had as a kid. In fact their whole new lineup has very early to mid 90s Nikko and Tyco vibes which I am totally down for.
I think most £300 to $400 buggies would've broken something with a solid hit like that.! Except the Jato.... It couldn't have gone fast enough to break.! 😉😉😁😁
@@soma_rc no yeah I know. I was referring to the fact that Spektrum kept the EPA feature on the new SLT2 and not the SLT3, as that what RazorRC said in the video
@@RazorRC mmm, did you try using the 3rd channel buttons to set the EPA while in the programming mode? That’s how it used to work on the “black power button” SLT3, while on the SLT2 they used the D/R dial for the same purpose, as obviously it doesn’t have a 3rd channel
Nice run Razor! I have brand new V2.0 Kraton and Outcast 4s trucks unopened. I bought them just before the V2.5 came out. In your opinion is it worth putting the center differentials in them or not? I haven’t opened them yet so I may just sell them and get the V2.5🤔. Or would I be better off buying the parts to build the center diff and installing them? I can’t decide.
Shocks on the V3 Typhon 3s broke easily. Pity they are still the same ones. Apart from that and maybe the servo setup, fantastic upgrades. I'm surprised you took it there, looks to rough for a buggy.
Learning about the hobby here so bear with me...breaking these cars seems to be just about every single video out there. Are they just crap, or is this par for the course to have something to repair daily? I'm not going to be trying 30 foot leaps off the skate ramp at my local park, but I do want to rip around and not have to ground my vehicle till i can repair it again. Arma seems to be the consensus I have seen that isn't junk; Traxxas is just a name that comes with a lot of support perks (or at least that's how I am understanding it) but not nearly the quality. I dont mind paying more to get something robust. I'm into RC Heli and you get what you pay for....dearly lol.
Can you even compare this to the Jato.? That thing's a joke.!! Traxxash have completely lost it lately, they've gone from innovators & leaders to parts bin specials & sub par copies of their own stuff. Overpriced is easier to swallow if you feel like you've bought something special, Traxxash haven't released anything special since the Xmaxx & UDR.! They can't even compete with, let alone beat the cheap Chinese stuff.! They do have a top quality advertisement department though.!! 😂 😂 The cope & excuses are funny to see too.!! 😁😁
Cut a corner with that 2-in-1. More expensive now for anyone that gets this who would like to upgrade their radio. Well I guess you get stabi!ity control at a cheaper price point.
@@barbedwirerat661 yeah stability control will help newer drivers, but at the cost of the 2-in-1 it seems. They simplified the bind/calibration process too.
The Jato was the Jato killer.
😂
😅
😂
@@BeardRubEnjoyer that’s good!
Got him! 😂
Amazing r.c. buggy! Would have been nice to see it run at your normal location!
Agreed. He brought a buggy to a location thats more suited to a kraton than a typhon.
This thing looks awesome!🔥 Loving the color schemes.
Definitely getting one of these 🔥🔥
It sounds and drives so much better with the center differential. And it's the same price as the previous model. Awesome. Thanks for the video
Just picked up a V3 for $279...gotta wait until springtime for the V4
Nice, love the new Arrma products!

I imagine the Granite will be next to update. Wicked ride. Thank you. Very much appreciated

Good review and first run ... Im waiting to see the new Granite , hopefully soon !
Dang that was a hard hit 😁 Awesome buggy. Always loved the Typhon…
Very nice! My son has a typhon 6S and we love it. Arrma just keeps killing it IMO

Great first look👍 This looks tempting.
@@ReadySetRC I like it the best of the new 223S line
Awesome! I am waiting for Arrma Notorious with blue and yellow body.
Really hoping they do a proper update on the Granite. Such a cool platform and perfect size IMO.
I think they will.
Just going to do it last because I want one 😅
Looks like a fun buggy. It'd be hard for anything to take that hit. I really wish Arrma would build a 8s 5th scale Typhon.
I always wanted TLR typhon. .nice review
😮 Wow! cool shoutout thanks!, I just find it surprising they kept it on the SLT2 but not the 3
2:24 shows the SLT3?
Definitely has the SLT3.
@@yonicozac yeah unless I really don’t understand the radio. 🤷♂️. It will go into flashing/program mode but not do anything after that.

new typhon 3s or the syncro4? what would you recommend? I see a shootout comparison coming with the jato!
kudos to arrma for this new vehicle. great video razor.
@@gamedogrc thanks!
Can you do a 223s shootout or buggy shootout w the Jato and Syncro4 👀
@@shanimithani good idea!
Very nice 🎉
I hope they update all the 3s models like the big rock
Dame assfault lip!😊
Let’s do a take down on all three Diffs?
As I want to buy one!
Are parts interchangable with the old Typhon 3s V3?
Yea I want the side gaurds
Will there coming a new 4S-6S Version also?
is there comming a bigrock v4 to?
I want to buy some swaybars for the new Senton and Vorteks but can't find the listed as an option anywhere.

@@amavarrc probably better to sell them and buy the new ones. There’s a lot of upgrades besides just the center diff.
this looks like a fun location to bash where is this?
yeah the arrma paint jobs look good how its not just the typical graphite look like traxxas always does

@@TheflyingkiwiRC it’s actually fairly smooth, just has big rocks here and there. And that lip!
definitely kills the price I don't think it's better then the Jato I'll get one for Christmas to see the difference
Really like this…. Just don’t like the electronics….
wow would rather buy this buggy then a jato.
2in1 esc/rx is a no thanks.
