I love Harry Belafonte, he is a great man. As a black child growing up in America it was nice to see him in film. I enjoyed his singing and acting. He did so much for the Civil Rights movement. He is eloquent and intelligent, and a great role model. God bless, him.
I had liked and saved a 1997 Ed Bradley 60 Minutes interview last week and now I noticed the site deleted it. It was a wonderful video, strange decision.
May Harry's legacy be an abundant influence on society of today. He has always been a catalyst for change. I am forever grateful for his influence. Thank you!
Just completed reading , ‘My Song”. I learned so much. The book must to be “HEARD”. A movie? I cried. Racism is the most challenging issue facing this country.
Happy Birthday 🎂 Mr.HarryBalafonta. I wish you all the best. You always make my heart beet your body of work just make me feel so good as a black man and from the Island of Jamaica 🇯🇲 at the time when living in USA 🇺🇸 was no joke 🎶 yor music and you acting Carrera and hard work I will always love you thank you for that tha authorprag pick still have it.Marcia we share the same Birthday March 1st all the best God bless you ❤️ 💙 ♥️ 🙏
I'm looking at this because I'm just now seeing Buck and the Preacher and I just want to see Belafonte today, now I'm going to check out that Colypso Album.
Mr. Belafonte has always sounded like this since the 1970s. He was never trained as a singer which stretched his vocal cords. So when he sang he was able to carry through - but speaking became stressful - causing the reverb in his voice. This is one voice that should never be silenced.
92 and he's still a legend
I love you Harry.
He's 95 now and I'm happy he's still with us. A true icon and hero

Just found "My Song" in my local library. You've inspired 1 person to "HEAR" it =) Thanks for sharing!
Love you man. Thank you for everything you do
I don't think that there was a greater humanitarian than Mr. Belafonte.
His voice almost sounds robotic now, that's all the years of voice training and singing that even when he talks his voice has different pitches.
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He had vocal chord surgery. Nodes
Ruhe in Frieden ❤😇😘
Rest in peace ❤😇😘

Little less hair but damn he still looks great
It would be better if it didn't have his voice dubbed.
Great Singer..............
My favorite sephardic calypso singer!

Every album he ever did is worth listening to. Especially with Miriam Makeba, The Carnegie Hall album, and his last "Paradise in Gazankula".
Great character🌹❤️🍀
Its weird how his voice has its own reverb, so much studio time can do that (this is a joke)
He was a smoker.
Its funny lol
Yeah? How did RFK (Presidential candidate for 2024) get the reverb for his voice?
Hey mr tally man 😁🙏
Tally me banana 🍌
Let's face it. Harry Belafonte did the fusion dance. Awesome music tho!
Dance dance dance senora!!
Why are subtitles not available for this video?
He sounds like he has two voices 😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Is this ultron?
When did Harry lose his voice? Probably stolen by the Pirates of the Carribean or lost in the Bermuda Triangle.
