I also like how even Adrian got momentarily lost in his explanation of how the Coke bezel can be used as a third time zone! Personally, I don't like the look of the GMT hand, it looks top heavy with the snowflake at the tip.
Love this watch. I am curious if they will upgrade the Pro to the new movement as I think that would be next. Maybe with an Opaline dial. Also curious if they will put a GMT into the Pelagos
you'll likely have to wait just a bit. we all know how tudor likes to do it with new releases....make it hard to get for the first 6-7 months, but after that, they'll flood AD's with the model and you'll be able to buy a dozen at a time if you want
@@omar10213245 hey I'm new to watches. I want to start building a watch collection of $1k-$5k watches, do you know good recommendations that will hold their value?
Picked up a amzwatch's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
Awesome watch but are you sure Adrian, that there are 60 clicks rather than 48 (and if so, why would there be 60 since there are 48 half hours in a 24 hour day? My Tudor Root Beer GMT has 48...). Great vid as always!
My favourite release was the monochrome BB on 5 link. Personal opinion: it's time for Tudor to make a wholesale change in bracelets to the T-fit bracelets and where applicable, offer the 5 link "Jubilee" style bracelets with T-fit clasp. Surely the parts bin of old style non-adjustable without tools bracelets is now empty? 100% agree that the rubber strap is not in keeping with the overall appearance of the BB58 GMT.
stunning watch , ihad the original for over 4 years and loved it but the case depth and lack of clasp adjustment made me let it go in the hope tudor would bring out an updated one , and they did , hoping a 41 ml is due shortly (ill still try the 58 ) .id definitely love to get the gmt bb again
Adrian, I hope that you meant that the bezel had 48 clicks bidirectional, not 60? GMT Master has 24 clicks, one for each hour, and Tudor GMT has 48 clicks, one for each half-hour.
Can’t beat gold polished Roman numerals that sparkle like jewels in the sunlight. Loving the sun ray dial man that pops!MAMACOO watches. What a beautiful subtle piece.
Tx for the presentation… as you have mentioned… only an option for me on a 5 link (Jubilee) bracelet… lets keep our fingers crossed that Tudor is listening to its fans again… and will release this option at W&W25.
I sold my first BB GMT because I have 6.5" wrists and 14.6mm was WAY too thick and the colour wasn't really doing it for me. It just felt a bit off. This. This watch right here. Now this is perfect. Definitely need to go see this in person at my local Tudor AD!
Personally, if they remove the gold colouring from the bezel, the faux rivets, and make the 24 hour hand a Bordeaux red, then make it 40/41mm wide it’d be perfect. At first I was so tempted to replace my Tudor gmt with it, but a day later I preferred my blue/red bezel and silver indices is fresher and more modern (whilst having vintage vibes) and I’ve excepted the thickness and is great on a brown, blue or red-y-brown leather straps I’m curious about a longines pilots watch or ultra Chron next
Forstner bands sells a case integrated jubilee for the black bay 58. It’s popular because it’s currently back ordered. It doesn’t have faux rivets and has micro adjustments (you need a trap tool). They also have other bracelets for Tudor. This watch is going to have wait lists.
This is now my favourite watch channel on TH-cam , such great content and done superbly, well done sir and I got my favourite watch at MaMaCoo,it hasn’t left my wrist for weeks
This watch is clearly heavily leaning into vintage, so the rivets on the bracelet are absolutely fine. If you want a modern looking watch, get the Tudor Pelagos 39.
OK, I have a BB58, original release. This looks great, BUT is no one mentioning that the GMT hand might actually be a bit hard to read? I imagine we'll see it in other colors, if not dimensions.
Just bought this watch on the rubber strap and I love it! So comfortable and looks amazing. The rotating bezel looks nice, but it's really difficult to operate because it's very thin and has the same diameter as the case. That's the only downside in my opinion to this watch.
This watch looks nice but I'm not the biggest fan of dual colored bezels. I'm excited about the new movement hoping we get a thinner cased BB Pro sooner than later.
Hey Adrian, could you get Tudor to make the BB Monochrome with a white face 38mm, bring lug to lug to about 44.5mm ? I would also like for the BB GMT to have a Black and Gray bezel. I like the compactness of the Cartier Santos medium, but I want a tool watch. any recommendations? Grand Seiko doesn't do it for me.
This is a beautiful and classy and super useful watch. I think it is the best of 2024 so far. The price is ridiculously good for what you get. This might be my first non dress watch!
I feel they made the wrong choice with the GMT hand by not putting a red accent. Also not offering a 5 link bracelet on this GMT was a very odd decision. I will check it out in due course, but unlikely to add one to my collection in its current offering.
I got rid of my Tudor Pepsi, I still own two Tudors but I just couldn’t help thinking it’s really the Rolex GMT that I want every time I looked at the Tudor after the initial honeymoon period.
hello Adrian, great points regarding the 58 GMT, Rubber is kind of a mismatch. However, on the bracelet, i can really see this being a future classic. The black part of the bezel could be mistaken for dark blue.
Although the gilt is not for me, I think they overall did a great job. The one miss is the lack of 5-link bracelet option, which you mentioned. I can't wait to see future colorways.
Thanks Adrian, I think I'm liking it more and more to the point of wanting one (BB58 owner here)... but does the 5 link jubilee style bracelet of the others fit?
Also, if you put the 24hr hand at UTC +0, you can use the bezel to base your home time from that offset, and the jumping hour still acts as your local time. Sometimes easier if you want to track additional timezones off UTC while maintaining local time.
Found a Tudor store in Colombia, tried it, loved the look but 2 things killed me: 1. For me, the 39mm felt just to small, and I hated feeling like that cause I really tried to love it 😂. 2. The click sound was to low, in comparison to the regular BB 58 that you get the crisp click sound when turning the bezel. Also the feel you get when you turn it, just was not there. 😢 Now I’m stuck with out a Tudor, not sure what to look for now, it would be my first Tudor.
Good review, it's too small for me. Would love to see a FXD version of a GMT - 42 or 43mm case, fully lumed bezel and a red date. That would be incredible!
Set the GMT hand to GMT, then use the number of hours +/- from Greenwich to your other location on the bezel to find a third time zone, and the jump hand for your local time. Then you get 3 time zones, and always have GMT as the reference time (hence the name).
Love this color variant, this is the color to get if you're torn between pepsi and root beer. Only thing is I like the 41mm, wish they kept that size with the 12.8mm thickness. P.S. I have a root beer and there are some QC that I find are ridiculous. Worse one is the date doesn't change until 12:04 because the hour markers are misaligned, I find that ridiculous for a 6k watch.
I’m definitely coming round to this. When I first saw it there was just something that was putting me off it but I still can’t quite work out what it was - too much going on maybe 🤔 Anyway, I do like it now that I’ve seen more ‘on wrist’ pictures and videos. Still need to see one in person though. Personally, I wish they had just slimmed down their current blue dial ‘Pepsi’ GMT, that would have made that almost the perfect watch for me.

Then for everyone else who just wants the flash they go for the Rolex name with their precious metal watches. Its a win win for Rolex/Tudor.
cool looking watch, looks a good size, i usually wear 40-42 mm watch, 39 sounds small for a 7 in wrist but the lug to lug length may fix that problem. should be worn on the jubilee bracelet. too late now as just shelled out for am explorer 2 42mm 216570 gen white dial
I wish this was available when I bought my blackbay. I really wanted a black bay (for years) and really wanted a gmt. I just couldn't have the gold on the two-tone. Now, I'm not in a position to buy and the prices are so much higher. I do love my BB, but as a brit living in the US the gmt would have been perfect. 😢
I have it, and I love everything about it. I thought I wouldn't like the bracelet but I do, I though I wouldn't like the guilt but I do. I had a choice between the Rolex Wimbledon and the Tudor BB58, and I went black bay and I ain't mad at it.
The animation to educate folks about the GMT function is super useful! Well done, Adrian.
100% agree. Watched that part twice
I also like how even Adrian got momentarily lost in his explanation of how the Coke bezel can be used as a third time zone!

FYI I think it’s from the Tudor website. I just found it the other day. They have some cool supporting content on their pages.
Agreed. Very nice touch 👌
yes. was very helpful. I now understand GMT function and use. Thank you !
It is hilarious to picture Adrian walking around Watches and Wonders with an empty Bark and Jack mug-just ready to shoot.

I think the bb58 GMT will be my first “luxury”watch. It’s just spectacular

The Coke is stunning, with warm, vintage 6542 vibes. Looking forward to trying one on at my AD.

I can verify as I own it. It is indeed 48 click not 60.
They’ve really nailed this watch. I just wish they offered it on the 5-link bracelet.
Very pretty watch. Good explanation of the GMT complication. Love the rivets on the bracelet.
You may literally be the only person that likes the fake rivets.
I think you are right. Fortunately I like what I like and don’t bother with people’s options too much.
Love the watch. But a 60clicks bezel for a gmt? Not sure if that's very usable?
Nice little review. Short format like this for new releases works a treat imo. I was hoping for another opaline dialled GMT variation…..
Ever since I bought a watch from amzwatch , My question is if it's this hard to tell them apart, what is the point of owning an authentic watch?

I wanna compare how thick it is on my wrist to the 54. If it’s just slightly thicker I’m buying this one. I love the bezel, reminds me of an old 6542.
Correct me if I’m wrong but wouldn’t that be a 48 Click bezel like other GMT’s to accomodate half hour increments?

@@jackm1310 yeah perfect for wrists 6.5 inch upwards, defo, just a nicer colour scheme overall I think
Are you sure the bezel has 60 clicks instead of the regular 48 clicks on a GMT bezel?
Adrian you said the bezel was 60 click. Shouldn’t it be 48 for a GMT bezel vs 60-120 for a dive timing bezel?
