Just thought I would offer a little help, on the product side of trapping. I also have used the Havalon Piranta for skinning, and tight areas, and usually use the round blade. A company named “Havels”, sells surgical, and non-surgical blades, for alot cheaper. You can usually purchase “100, for around $25/including SH.
really appreciate your efforts, keep em' coming !
its not all about speed its the final product that counts excellent video
You did a nice clean job I think. Thanks for the video

How do you pull a freeze dried tail?
Without destroying it?
Not sure it can be done. Maybe rehydrate and try to skin it out....or leave it in.
Do you use the same method on fisher? Thanks
Dan Krogstad yes I do, except you make a triangle cut around the vent instead of cutting right through it.
Are those wire Martin stretchers
no, those are rat stretchers. I only use wood for marten.
awesome , thanks much !!!!
I always thought the fleas would die when the animals is skinned? They live of the blood from the host, don’t they?
usually takes a few days for them to die. in the meantime, they look for another host!
