- A bridge, tastefully constructed, is a splendid addition to your rail route. It's often a much needed addition since you don't tend to place a bridge unless you need to get across a gap of some description. Maybe it's filled with water, lava or Dr Pepper, I don't know. Obviously you don't want your train to get wet, melted or sticky so a bridge is the right way to go. In Transport Fever 2 I'm building a bridge.

41:26, I'd live in UP, even work the shipyards, to sit on that hill there and watch the port and yard doing that intermodal magic as the passengers go by. Can't wait to see it whacking out the old gross national.
Hi Colonel Failure. Just wanted to say good work. You know when GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition is released. I would like to see you cover the newer GTA 3 on a six stars playthrough if you cover those kind of games. It will be challenging but I think you could it. You seem to have lots of patience when doing let's plays and it might get you over 100k subs in the process too mate. Please keep up the great work on the videos.

I've downloaded and spent a good amount of time in this map, local bus routes in all cities and all connected by train and several freight lines etc... We have very similar PCs, got down to about 35fps in the busier sections, very playable. Not a slide show like Japan was.
I’m about to get this game but am not sure if my computer can run it. What are your specs?

Conner, my specs are listed in my About page - they're really high, far higher than is needed. If you keep your map sizes small and don't go nuts with mods you'll be fine (assuming your PC meets the minimum spec).
@@connergalmeister9269 Chose a small map. Then delete all trees and rocks before you start and you are good to go.

No cheating used there, I paid for it :) It's a really handy way to get proper parallel bridgework (I usually use it for station approaches).

Colonel, You missed double-slipping the switches on the goods/freight main at Shermer.
I always have a little, or indeed huge, concern, when the video title contains the word *Bridge* .
Im the same when I here bridges, the colonel built 2 here and this isn't the bridge episode for this series we could be in for the bridge episode of all bridge episodes lol
You could split up a platform to two, by deleting a piece of stationtrack and replacing by real track, and you could even lay a release track next to it, there is just enough space to put in a switch/diamond crossing. (I know you know this already, but just a reminder, dunno, you complained there was not enough trains in the stations, so you can have more trains at once in the station)

Really loving this series! It's inspired me to buy the game; I'm currently working my way through the campaign mode to get used to the mechanics. The only thing that I find annoying right now is that trains run on the right hand side. I work on the railway, so trying to lay points and signalling goes against everything I know!
Not to get overly political here but when Biden said "build it back better" i am pretty sure he was thinking of colonels transport fever 2 series.

When the next route rolls along, yes. I tend to do one video per route.

I'm with you on paying for your terrain modification. What else am I to do with the hundreds of million in my bank account if not terraform the world? More trains? Sure. But that means even more revenue.
