I'm not done watching this video, but felt compelled to give this compliment.
I hope you continue to like it, to me the stock exhaust on my Redyee is loud enough as it is, especially when you get on it. My 2015 Hellcat had a muffler delete and I put some mufflers back on; it was way to loud (the car would wake the dead on a morning cold start). My 2015 was a manual Hellcat and I could tell a definite power increase when I put some mufflers back on (had more low end torque); might be different with the 8-speed auto though. Also the car was so loud it drowned out the supercharger whine and I definitely wanted to hear that. The Redeye has a different cold air intake than the old 2015 Hellcats so you might still be able to hear the blower whine with the muffler delete.
The early gen3 Challengers came with pretty crappy exhaust, but are much better these days though. Was considering straight piping my 2010 Challenger SRT8, but decided to replace everything because I wanted to go with larger diameter for better flow. So we went with SLP loudmouth cat-backs, which basically consists of 3" pipe with 2 open chamber racing bullets and also allows for reso delete. So they're nice & loud and really opened it up, but also suggest a good CAI as they work best together
Once u get used to the mid muffler ur going to want to get rid of the back resonators lol its happened to me. Now i want exhaust cut outs in the summer make it even more louder.
Went and had my Redeye mid mufflers removed by the muffler man. Great shop and crew. And another guy showed up while mine was on the rack with his RT after seeing this video. well worth it!!!
I'm in Montebello so a trip to the muffler man is on my list for my 2020 Redeye. And I'm having a Whelen 360 4g dash cam installed Thursday. Mounts low on the windshield, not the mirror and is harder to see IMO. And any event will upload to the cloud !!!

Yep dud the same..replaced the mids with 1794's...What i did notice is that after about 300 miles with them the tone definitely has gotten louder and deeper with time
I did the resonator delete before...too raspy. U should have done a vibrant or dynomax bullet replacement for the resonators. Aggressive over stock but no raspy like deletes. FWIW IMO
First guy may have been rude but he was actually correct. Mid mufflers are also called resonators. He asked you if you wanted the resonators removed or the mufflers themselves removed. Which a lot of people do. Enjoying the channel.

Put your car in sport or track mode to open up your by pass valve. Itll sound a lot better. If you would like a deep but smooth sound get vibrant 1794 mufflers.
I did the mid muffler delete on my scat and didn’t like it. It didn’t sound like I thought it should. So with my hellcat I replaced the mid muffler with dynoMax mini race bullets and it was 💯 % better. Just a thought if you decide to get more bite from it.
I would recommend showing up to a muffler shop in some kick around work clothes. Showing up in a suit can sometimes scare people for some reason. Obviously to sloppy is not good but its just a balancing act. Welcome to the modding brotherhood!
I had the same exact experience when I went to pay to have my mufflers deleted. I dont get it...he acted like he was annoyed that I wanted to pay him to do the muffler delete. I went somewhere else...
A bit skittish about the mid muffler delete. I don't think he'll ever use 800hp. Let me know when it's up for sale. I would love to buy a lightly used hellcat. I would have just dropped a whipple and mopar widebody kit on the scatpack all for about 10k.
G 5.0 I did and don’t think I misunderstood,, he didn’t use the first guy because he admitted not ever doing one and was talking about removing the rear mufflers it appeared ,, anyways it was still a good call going to the other guy who’s done tons of these and told him exactly what to expect.

I agree. It wasn’t as much his question as much as that I was clear what I wanted and he continued to ask me and crawl around under the car and looked beyond confused and lost. The other guy was clear as day and listened and knew exactly what I wanted and had experience with these exact cars where the other guy admitted he never has. Wasn’t going to take my chances.
Long tube stainless headers in line high flow cats with cross over pipe to balance and some Flow master super 10s at rear with the wider mouth tips......your neighbors will probably put up for sale signs....lol
No super 10s please everbody uses them and they are terrible for flow on 700hp+ cars. Go with like corsa borla or magnaflow. But i do agree with the longtubes although it may void the warranty.
@@Sak-zo1ui Mopar performance makes long tube headers available for the car so I don't see how it would void warranty the also make an exhaust for it also I believe magnaflow design but they are turbo design muffler's which have been proven on a Dyno to rob HP....ie( engine Masters) Flowmaster also makes a resonator type straight through muffler.... Corsa and borola are good systems also but alot of money..also remember that he is in California and the snow flake libs are deeply offended and hurt cause the noise hurts their ears and feelings.
Ronald Moparornocar ngl i just learned that mopar made headers had no clue. For me they wouldnt work though cause they are stock collection. I need 3in but it is cool that mopar sells em. Also i didnt know flowmaster made straight through mufflers too. I do know that the super series are all two chambered though.
I agree the corsa extreme is the best exhaust upgrade for scat pack and hell cat . I got the black tips on my scat and I love the sound over the stock sound.
Bobby I did the Dynomax Mini bullets, spent 50 bucks on my Hellcat, my buddy who also has a Hellcat he went with the Borla, my car is just as loud as his car, it revs the same, but I saved 1850 bucks, my buddy now regrets spending the money he did on his Borla exhaust system.
Well done a well designed system with interferes header's or tuned length would make it sound like magic.......a 4 to 4and a half inch twin system would be nice sound and a quiet a bit of kellowattage increase........

Make sure you don't get pulled over for excessive noise in California and have to pay stupid huge fine plus have to take that car to an auditor to look it over before you can drive it.
it'd be better to remove the RESONATORS. Taking out mufflers is going to disrupt the exhaust pulse and drop your torque at low rpm. I messed with the exhaust on my 6.4L ScatPack and the low end torque was gone. If I was doing exhaust mods again, I'd keep same diameter pipes, but remove resonators and switch factory mufflers for something like Flowmaster Super 10. You get the sound and no loss in torque!
Hmmmm.. Not sure about that. I had a 30 year owner of one of the top exhaust shops in my area say the opposite. And removing resonators would have people getting pulled over 20 times a day here in CA. Even the xMod Magnaflow system I put on my car allows for me to remove the mid mufflers myself with no affect on performance or "disrupting the exhaust pulse". Can't find any definitive information to support that belief also. The muffler simply controls the sound anyways and the car will even pass smog without it.
Resonators change the pulse of exhaust flow and change the drone effect. The Scat pack is built with different exhaust than the hellcat. These exhaust systems were built on a computer by Dodge R@D dept and are perfect for each car in stock form. If the computer doesn't trigger a chk eng light then flow was accepted with the muffler delete to be in the factory parameters. Horsepower gains of 10 plus largely lie in header configuration and aftermarket cats.

sounds great! when i did mine on the Scat Pack, i had them put in dynomax race bullets instead of a straight pipe. Sounds great as well.

I just got a 2021 Redeye Challenger and i'm on the fence with the whole muffler delete.
