Thanks a lot. Anytime you’re using cocoa butter, you will experience a harder formula. Mine is comparable to that of palmers cocoa butter. And since it’s warmer currently, the formula is solid but malleable enough to scoop it out and spread it on your skin with no hassle. But in the winter, you would probably have to warm it in your hands for a second before applying.
That’s ok it depends tho on what texture you’re going for, cocoa butter is naturally solid at room temp so the more oils you add to it, the more diluted the butter will be, keeping it softer in texture. This particular recipe is on the solid side because it has more cocoa butter in it and is comparable in texture to the cocoa butter in stores but if you want it to be softer after whipped, you have to use less cocoa butter in the recipe. So decrease the cocoa butter content by 1/2-1 cup and replace with more liquid oil.
If you wanted them in bulk I recommend you order from a site that offers 8 oz jars in bulk or if you just want a smaller scale box of them, I got mines from a craft store like hobby lobby. I believe it came with 36 jars & lids

Never mind I just watched her rub it into her skin. Its oily ! Oily doesnt absorb into my skin very well and it plugs my pores and makes me itch. I will on this recipe.
@lashondacleveland538 what you’re calling oily is very beneficial to the skin. I don’t like to add arrowroot powder to my body butters, that’s like rubbing powder on your skin.. why use a body butter if you’re scared of the oils. The skin soaks in anything you put on it because it’s porous. Thanks for the opinions tho. Find a recipe that works for you all.
Hello, cocoa butter is absorbed into our skin really well. With any body butter, if you put too much on, it can leave excess and become greasy but if you apply just enough, your skin soaks it in and it’s very beneficial for you, I will be making another video about cocoa butter, explaining in more detail.

Do you add arrowroot powder to eliminate the greasiness?
