    In other words, wash your face when using cocoa butter. I’m always sure to cleanse my face if I use cocoa butter. I typically use it for the body and not the face

      Shea butter is a sealant. It is not a moisturizer because it has no water content. Cocoa butter, shea butter, Vaseline, Aquaphor are all sealants NOT moisturizers so they should go on after you moisturize your skin to lock it in.

    • @vastya.3255

      @@mickeyxoxo5363when it comes to skin and hair, to moisturize is a verb to describe chemical compounds that slow down the evaporation rate / moisture loss of hair and skin. There are therefore moisturizing oils, and butters. These lipid rich agents seal in moisture and can also be called sealants indeed, as well as conditioner/or moisturizing in nature.

      @@mickeyxoxo5363 Yeah but shea butter is very versatile, and is more Superior of moisturizing your skin than any other butter. don't get me wrong I love cocoa butter and use them both. But that's just like Any other apples, and oranges, ones going to pack more than the other. Shea butter does both moisturize and seal that's one of it's superior works.

    Hello I have a question I've breaking out with dry skin around my nose will Shea butter work

    • @Duafemassage
      @Duafemassage 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! Try using an acid such as lactic or glycolic acid. This will help to get rid of the build up of dry skin around your nose & increase skin cell turnover. Follow up with a serum or cream that has hyaluronic acid, urea, or ceramides, then try finishing up by applying Shea butter. Shea butter will seal in moisture because of its occlusive properties. Don’t forget to apply your serums,creams, & Shea butter to damp skin so that your skin will be easier to work with ✨

    • @Mss_Ena

      What are you hoping to achieve please? Tea tree oil can be very harsh as a topical treatment. If you are making bar soap with shea & cocoa butter and some tea tree oil, that should be safe but as a cream, I won’t advise you do.
