SP-404sx + TR-6s /// Lo-Fi House - "When We Fell In Love"

- Another jam on the SP-404sx and TR-6s. I used the 909 kit from the TR-6 with a 727 shaker and triggered everything else from Ableton. All clips from Ableton were sequenced on the Push 2. Everything running out the mackie mix8 into the 404 for fx.
Bass: SH-101(Roland Cloud VST)
Chord & String: Juno-60 (Roland Cloud VST)
E-Piano: M1 (VST)
Extra Snare (Sampled from Vinyl)
Crash (909)
Vox (Chopped on Push)
The M1 and Vox were also processed through the RX-950 Plugin. TAL Reverb on the vox as well.

Thanks. I used the 404 just for its fx for this cut. But if you want to be able to sync it to your DAW or other gear you need to use a midi cable.

I had the TR6 and Ableton running through a mixer and sent the main outs of the mixer into the SP-404 😎

How are your pre-recorded ableton tracks lining up perfectly with your live drums playing on the tr6
I had ableton synced with the TR-6 via 5 pin MIDI cable.
Hey thanks for the reply I just bought a tr6s and I've been trying to figure that out for the past week. One more question I'm assuming all the samples are coming out of ableton so how are you using DJfx looper on the SP over your master on ableton?
@@nicom2457 Im running both outs from Ableton and the TR6 into a mixer and then the master out of the mixer is going into the SP for FX processing

Thanks ! A part of me still wants to get the TR8s. I don't mind having the TR6s for its size which is part of the reason I got one but I feel I would use the 8 more if I had it and and it would be more fun as well

Haha! Thank you. I have yet to press any vinyl mainly due to the cost. But I am considering doing a pre-order maybe through Bandcamp and when I reach enough orders I’ll get something pressed. Maybe an EP. I will keep this track in mind because it has gotten a ton of love. Have you ever pressed any of your stuff on vinyl ?
@@sublevelmusic Cool. I didn't know you could do that through Bandcamp. In 2013 I got a test pressing of my first Deep House EP but I didn't go for the whole thing in the end. There's a video of that vinyl on my channel if you are interested. Since then I released digital only.

The vocal chops are coming from Ableton. I cut them up on Push 2
@@benaskrensfriend4945 You could absolutely use a vocal sample on the TR6s. There are a few built in.
