@@pogto as far as I'm aware, its not true. I've researched the issue for years and haven't come across an event like that around the time of the Armenian Genocide. 🤷♂
@@pogtoto answer this question - a lot of them tend to reference that many turkish sources make the claim that the Armenian genocide was a justified response to armenia having joined russia in the “caucus wars” or a caucus warfare between turkish forces, failing to recognize a long prior history of religious / minority oppression in their empire and the failure to recognize armenian autonomy when the young turks took control of the region
