My $15 headphones used to have the same problem. The trick is to let them connect to each other before turning on Bluetooth

There's 30$ apple watch clones on AliExpress that work almost as well except you don't need half your wage to buy them

Apple set the price at $200, but probably only cost a tad bit more than the $10 AirPod to make.
probably $10 + $0.01 for the quality control to ensure that BOTH of them WORK when you buy them... seems to be the only real difference XD

To connect you have to reset them. They do this all the time. They un pair and you have to reset them and delete them from your device to work properly again.

Moral of the story: buy what you can afford and want, lol.
A lot of cheaper options work just as well as the expensive ones. My only gripe is that they break easier but that's a very good trade for saving 100+ dollars.
To fix the “One of them does not connect” problem, press and hold the button on the case and then connect it manually. This happens to me every time with my collection of fake AirPods.
For anyone wondering why the second one didn't connected properly must be because the charging was pretty low... I would suggest to charge them full and then try to connect... Works properly for me

Always look at intrinsic value (actual value), not perceived value. Hence the question that should be asked: are the $200 airpods 20 times better than $10 airpods.
If not, buy the $10 fake.

The thing is the fake ones start not working pretty fast but Apple ones last way long, learned this from experience

If you’re going cheap with your headphones get some cabled ones that won’t die in a year, I recommend some KZs

I am currently using a $50 knockoffs and it is actually good. you can tell that theres a small difference on the noise canceling but sound quality wise, it’s superb. personally i actually think its a better value than the real ones. mine is called the tiger 1562AE. dont buy the 1562 or the 1562f though

I dont know why I am seeing this. I just bought a new AirPods gen 2 for $170. I used to use a fake air pods that I bought for like $20, I used it for a year. I still have it and works perfectly, but the thing is it hurts my ears and I also think it is because of the society, like everyone has them and I feel bad for not having the real ones so I bought them.
I got one for $5 and they are the BEST. They also come in different colors and customization options

you can connect both, just that you need to pair them separately for the first time. And then they work as fine as original.

I think genuine air pods are a complete ripoff, but we fall for the problem of something being a name brand adding status. Also the market of airpods is mainly ran by Apple so they can more or less give you whatever they want the price to be even if it could be like a 10x - 20x price increase than what it costs to make.

The one earbud that doesn’t connect is because is that you powered it off by pinching and hold the stem okay
I did fool someone one time with a 15,000 naira (about 30$ then) airpods. He said the cheap fake ones sounded better than the original one which I got for over 100,000 naira (just about 200$ at that time) then.
The fake ones only lacked the transparency mode and the anc was slightly weaker, but overall for that price, it was way better value than the "original"
