      @@dampsam It would also be good for the DIY or Homeown if they suspect damp/condesation. As you say a lot in your videos it is all about how to interep the results to formulate an action plan.

    they sell moisture metres in Aldi every now and again as well can always use the old fashioned way to test for damp see dry tissue sticks to the wall don't knock it till you've tried it 😂😂

    Great for a before and after on the use of the rods or cream ( given air/room conditions are mostly the same 6 or 12 months after the application). Just on that note, I've heard (on you tube) that dry rods are only good for 10 to 15 years? Maybe its the same for the creams I'm not sure. Or is that just some you tube bullsh*t?

      Dry rods will last as long as the house is there, they only start to work when in contact with moisture

    you're probably find all the meters are made in the same factory the longer the company's been around the more expensive it is that's due to tax like ox tools they approach big companies and put their name on them because I haven't been around as long thy Art cheaper

    cheap meter but no one meter should ever be used to diagnose rising damp.

    • @dampsam
      @dampsam  ปีที่แล้ว

      If it’s rising damp an experienced survey wouldn’t need a meter. You will see it.
