Dive watches are designed to be a backup to your digital equipment. 46mm with a helium blowoff valve demonstrates this. I went 90 feet down, past 40 feet it turns to darkness and the water is very cold. Past 90 feet you really feel the pressure. You are happy to have a 46mm size, much easier to read. Function over form.
Yeah, for once my flat and wide slab-shaped wrists have given me an advantage when it comes to watches. I wish I could wear a standard 40mm but it looks like a ladies or a kiddies watch on my wrist and looks absurd. So, I'm reduced to watches like my Invicta Grand Diver and my Tissot Seastar 2000. My next watch will likely be a Bulova Lunar Pilot.
what watch r u wearing? 😮 looks amazin
