You had to almost be a multi-millionaire to rent anything in cities like Toronto and Vancouver. It amazes ( and almost sickens me ) the way people will immediately jump on immigrants for being the cause of any kind of domestic problem. Doesn't matter whether that problem is housing shortage, unemployment, crime rate, over crowding in schools or hospitals, etc., it is the immigrants fault. I even had one person try to tell me they were the cause of inflation. Yes, because they were helping to buy up things such as food and gasoline, so that caused shortages and therefore caused the prices to go up. There NEVER has been a shortage of those items. That person couldn't explain how some business, such as restaurants were having a tough time since the pandemic because NOT ENOUGH people were out shopping. Come on people, use a little common sense before making these wild, untrue statements. This is hurtful gossip and spreads untruths. We all suffer from those effects.

The slinger is just the weapon they need but they need heaps, 1000's of them for the front lines, city and power plant protection. What doesn't seem to be mentioned is the fact that the 30mm cannon uses proximity fused shells. These use a radio signal to determine when they are close to a target. Just keep thinking about how short sighted Putin is. Bro is basically giving all of NATO and it's other allies the ability to field test mass amounts of powerful technology that fits into a modern battle field. Man's war is so futile and its just giving us so much more data.
At the same time he is learning a lot about NATO weapons and have captured many tanks and anti-tank weapons that they will reverse engineer to make better weapons.
@@fred.flintstone4099 Most the weapons we gave them are from like the 90's. We're giving Ukraine for the most part cold war era technology. Little to nothing has really been lost in the terms of any modern technology. Like oh no you have an Abrams tank! Things from the 80's.
Learning about American Cold War technology they can just get on the black market anyways since they've been out forever means nothing. We're already 2-3 generations if not more ahead of the tech we're actually giving away.
@@Korvilon Vatniks tend to ignore information like this. They seem to think the M1A1s and other vehicles sent are our latest and greatest when in reality they are not. The Kremlins men are struggling to deal with stuff they would have dealt with in the cold war and that proves how poor they are at warfare and maintaining their systems and equipment. They are perpetually 20 years behind us, its almost like this has been Russia for a large part of their history, trying to catch up to their counterparts in the west. The cold war was the only time I feel we were at least equal adversaries on a military level. At the end of the day the US and our Allies in NATO get to see how the equipment performs in a setting it was designed to perform in, not COIN operations like they have been dealing with since the late 90s.

Our F18s were getting scrapped. Possibly are by now.
@@BrendanButler-dw1ox F/A18's are way too hard to train for and more importantly need intensive technical support. The value is actually a negative to Ukraine. The Tiger helicopters were going to be a logistical nightmare , not just for Au but Ukr too. The next helicopters to be decommissioned (MRH-90 helicopter fleet) are more likely to be of assistance and the technical support value is there too. BUT they had a recent crash in Australia with a number of crew dying. Their safety is questionable.
The F16's are only potentially beneficial because parts and trainers are more plentiful than any other. Hopefully there are some vet rogue pilots who want to give it a crack too.
But if I was Ukraine I would have bought the Gripen JAS39 from Sweden - run ways are going to be absolutely critical as one missile can end any launch site. Gripens can be road launched and recovered, F16's can't - they wouldn't last/crash landing on anything but smooth runways.
