    Thank you so much AK. I really love the way you detailedly elaborate on the subjects rarely addressed by many of the biochemistry books I use. Truly grateful for your awesome videos. They're really aiding me in reviewing for med exam XD

    thank you so so so much for all of your videos. I've been taking A&P one and two back to back this semester. It is fast paced and crazy amounts of info. You really help me to understand how all of the cellular processes fit together so much better than reading my text and going over notes and videos from my class can do. There are just some details missing in my classes that that leave me a little confused and you fill in those gaps and . tie it all together so it makes sense for me. Thank you thank you thank you!!

    Well first of thanks for your videos you are obviously clearer than most of the prof I had..
    I still have a question tho.. So basically we had 2ATP at the begging of the reaction and at the end we get 2ATP (4 ATP produced but 2 have been used up for the reaction). So what is the purpose of this reaction..? Cause we basically already had those 2 ATP that we created in this reaction.. See what I mean ? Thankss :)

    • @lisamarie5142
      @lisamarie5142 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +ramel ghezraoui I understand how you are thinking, but you skipped over a point. You have 2 ATP. You use those 2 ATP. After that, you make 4 ATP. You have those 4 ATP, fully intact. However, because you used 2 ATP, 2 out of those 4 ATP you made were redundant-they made up for what you lost. That leaves you with 2 extra ATP than you had at the start, hence net total. At the end of glycolysis, you technically have 4 ATP, you did not touch any of those 4 ATP to undergo the pathway. Hope that helped :)
