What a great book written by a guy who could have wined and cried about his childhood, but has risen to great heights despite (or maybe because of) his upbringing. It's a great read. [Edited to add this: he did a walk across America to benefit foster children so that they could stay in the foster system until they're 21 instead of 18. What a guy.
Still here for this beautiful ballad.... miss this man, miss his sexy voice, his hot looks, and his loving, caring heart & attitude. He's always been underrated. Nashville really let a good one get away, when they didn't continue his career. I don't get it. He could've been, and should've been a HUGE STAR. Unless, HE chose to walk away? Years ago i lost my job due to a cutback and a "friend" of my wife and i offered me a great job,soon after him and my wife became friends and my step daughter and his became best friends.I had my thoughts but thought no way! now they are together!! Love this song. Use to listen to is when me and my gf broke up when it first came out. Didn't think I would EVER get over her and it hurt so so bad. It took a long time but I can say I have been over her for half a decade or more now and I am actually happier now than I ever was with her. I am now friends with her and her bf and ever so often we talk. I know it may not seem like it now but you will get over her and it does get better.
