I always marveled at the fact that in her death throes, while her upper works were sliding into the sea, her queenposts remained tall and strong.

I must admit now thinking about it, it was impressive that her forward kingposts remained on deck until 2007-08.

remember taking photos in eleusis bay of her in 1986 , we were fortunate to hire a boat and get some shots , which in those days was in itself a very difficult thing to do , kind regards , Peter j.fitzpatrick

I've heard that it was extremely difficult to get near the ship and photographing it without getting caught by the Greek authorities.
