I wrestled from 6-8th grade before almost quitting to fully commit on football. I started watching your videos as a freshmen again and you’ve really inspired me to pursue a sport I truly love. Here I am as a freshmen going into my sophomore year as a state qualifier.

@@momcilojabucilo9320 bench is not needed for wrestling specifically because you're rarely pushing people. pulling (row/pull ups) is more important. the other three you should do.

@@yerboiethan push and pull. Helps put them off balance. Speaking about balance it’s important to have some balanced muscular development for better function. Yea I’d lean more towards pulling especially and some upward pressing but I don’t think id leave out bench completely. It’s a good all round strength exercise that id focus on a bit in the off season.

These 10 exercises really do form a complete and multidimensional fitness program for wresting. I was skeptical coming in and assuming maybe it would be some actual lifts only, but it actually wasnt all lifts and this list encompassed everything.

I would personally switch the cable pullovers to a lying dumbbell pullover on a bench. It's a much more applicable movement you can also treat as an explosive movement as well. Slow eccentric, exploding concentric; you can train full range of motion and there's tension on basically the whole movement.

    Need advice.
I have been lifting consistently since i was 16. I started bodyweight training at 13. Now i am 25
I have competed in powerlfiting(fun) and bodybuilding(never again).
My best lifts are 5 plate squat,6 plate deads(4 plates i can do for 8 to 9), 3.5 plates RDls for 8 to 9, bench 315, pullups with 40 to 50 kgs added.
I want to join a MMA club, to learn something new.
I want to know things which i can do that will assist me in training for that.
I dont know who to ask, becayse not many in my gym or the MMA place have trained for so long and in my city there are not many people properly educated about this stuff.

I looked into natural testosterone building through exercise... with bloodwork.
I mostly used deadlifts and squats, which are leg exercises. I got a 0.2 increase in testosterone from that. Tested multiple times before and after. It doesn't go up a lot.
However, there is another side to this.
If you are younger and you have poor blood flow in your legs, adding in leg exercises with high intensity for short duration (ie ATP engaging) or long duration low intensity exercise, you will dramatically increase blood flow to the legs. This will increase artery health and increase blood flow to the testes by proximity. If the femoral artery experiences increased blood flow, the blood flow to the testes will increase by extension.
However, this is mostly going to affect people who have poor testicular health, not people who are already in a good habit of exercise.
